I am trying to use yahoo pipes. I do want to make custom feed that pulls from my blog and youtube rss. I have taken the urls and now connected the pipe. I hit publish. Is that all you need to do?

I'm not an RSS expert either, but you'll want to take the RSS feed you created with the pipes and submit it to as many RSS feed sites as possible. You can do it manually or buy software to do it for you, like RSS Bot from Incansoft. RSS Bot - (not an affiliate link)

If you want to do them manually, here is a list of some that I have seen lately. It's not a complete list by any means, but it's a place to start.

      feedage.com
      feedraider.com
      goldenfeed.com
      feedest.com
      rssmountain.com
      rssmicro.com
      rssmotion.com
      icerocket.com
      feedagg.com
      azfeeds.com
      2rss.com
      blo.gs
      feedbase.net
      feedboy.com
      feedplex.com
      devasp.com
      feedlisting.com
      feedbomb.com
      leighrss.com
      millionrss.com
      myrss365.com
      plazoo.com
      readablog.com
      weblogalot.com

Well, you don't just want to submit your blog feed. you want your other feed(s) submitted too. I imagine that you created the pipe to simplify your RSS submissions and combine multiple feeds. I assume your blog feed is included in the pipe. That being the case you would use the pipe feed URL. The other option is to submit the individual feeds separately to each site. A lot more work, but may be better in some situations.
