Anyone take advantage of the Olympics?

If any of you have been watching google trends recently, it's been surging with searches related to the olympics.

Were you able to take advantage of this with CPA offers or other things? I'm curious to hear what you guys did (or wanted to do, but didn't).

I considered it but decided it wasn't worth the time because I try and focus most of my efforts on evergreen articles and campaigns, not ones that will be popular for 2 weeks every few years. But I would be interested in hearing about some successes!

  I managed to get a facebook fanpage about Shaun white up to around 200k fans, posted a link to a snowboarding blog and got some sales.

  My old company used to capitalize on big events such as this. We created football jerseys and accessories prior to World Cup 2006. It was a fairly tough market since football jerseys during World Cup are so easily accessible in just about every sports apparel store.
  I'd say it's not really worth it.

  I think gambling may be a better option for profitability (i mean promoting gaming sites).
  
  But I suppose you could also try and take advantage of snowboard or ski sites.
