Is it possible to get email notification on private messages?

I don't go into private messages often and wondered if there is a way to get notified by email if someone has sent me a PM.

Does anyone know? Thanks.

    1. Yes you can. I get them all the time. Check your settings.
    2. It always says if you have new messages: Top Right below your name.
    3. For me it even shows a small popup if I have a new message.

    Having this many ways of telling you about the new messages... I am wondering how comes you have to go into the PM subpanel to see them?

      Yes, and I like getting them. I follow alot of
      marketers on the forum. I'm interested in seeing
      their posts, rather than most of the emails I get.

        Cafe, I'm not talking about getting notified on posts. I'm talking about email notification on private messages.

        Thanks for anyone's help on this (rather minor but timesaving) issue.

      Well, you're saying the notification is inside the Warrior Forum itself. What I'm looking for is an email to my email address saying that I have a new private message. You know, just like you can get notified when someone replies to a thread you have subscribed to.

      Wonder if that's possible. I will go look at the settings now.

          Okay, I just found how to do it. Inside the User CP, if you click on Edit Options you'll see a box you can check for this very purpose.

          Case closed: It IS possible!! Should have done a little digging first before posting, but maybe having this post up will help someone.

    It helped me. I hadn't been able to figure out where the option went after the new forum was implemented. Shows what happens when you get this age.
