Importance of business model

When you first get started in IM, the most important thing is to find something that works (made you money), then hit it hard to see how far you can take it.

Once you know that you can make it at IM, your business model is key.

When I started 10 years ago, I worked for a Web Site Promotion firm that went out of business. Clients that I handled asked me to take care of their accounts and it was the perfect way for me to start my own business.

The business model of taking care of the marketing needs for other site owners was not working for me. I decided that if I could promote others sites well, I could promote my own even better. That is when I started SEO lead generation and then directory ownership.
