Best program to compress PDF files?

I have a 75-megabyte PDF file that needs compressed for ebook downloads and it has lots of pictures.

What would the best way to compress this PDF monster for easy downloads?

The problem is you have to reduce the size of every single image if you want to reduce the file size of the whole file.

Adobe Acrobat offers you an option to reduce the file size, but it limits also the quality of the file. If you can pm me a link where the file can be downloaded I can show you an example how it will look like.

Have you tried Home*-*CVISION I used them to compress a whole bunch of pages I scanned from a book, and it worked brilliantly.

Your best solution is to use Acrobat Reader Pro and break those PDF's into smaller files.. For example "Download the 10 PDF Reports" Breaking it into smaller files will help you and your customer a great deal...

You do realize that many many many internet users are still using dialup, correct ? Imagine someone on dialup downloading a 75MB file.. Almost impossible, I know I have been there.. Even if you got it reduced to 50MB it still would take hours to download and that is assuming the ISP does not time-out..

I deleted the e-book, not practical for the size it is at. Maybe software could be that size, but not a e-book.

Moving onto another e-book project with smalller file sizes and more market demand.

Being a website developer I know what file sizes can be and I do have some scripts that are 60+MB in size which is also why I do install of my scripts free of charge to all my clients.
