Ezine article Denial..."but I can't give out all the info in the article ezine!"

So I want to spit out quite a few articles. This is not just something I get in this one niche but in more than one.

I write a article and I try and pick a kwd that is good for the title like so:

"Ev Conversions - How to Convert Your Car to Run on Electricity"

But because I did not state the steps to actually converting the car I get denied for not fulfilling the promise in the title or "not enough original or informative content".

My article:

The other article I wrote got denied for not enough informative content...

How am I supposed to use good kwds, not give out too much info AND be able to get around these dumb denials? I CAN'T put too much good info in the articles but if I don't I have to edit them until they go through and well I need to get out several fast and editing takes time up.

Oh and by the way I see the spelling error in the top paragraph, I will edit it when I re-submit it. I can hardly believe I let that one go through haha.

Your title says your article is going to tell people how to convert their cars to run on electricity, but your article doesn't tell them how - EZA is really picky about that kind of thing.

I'd say try a different title - one that better reflects the content in your article - although I'm not sure if that's going to make a difference. Look at it this way - does your article offer anything of value to the reader? Or is it just a thinly veiled promotional piece? Try offering some actual information (you don't have to give everything away - just enough to get them interested) and you might be able to get this in.

Change the title to "Why You Should Convert your Car to Run on Electricity". You can't title it "How to" if you don't intend to follow through in the article and actually explain how to.

I know what you mean when you say you don't want to give away the info or people won't need to follow your links. However, ezine does require you to deliver what you promise in your article. I had to rewrite one once because of that.

I go along with the the previous poster's idea of telling people why they need to convert instead of how. Although you may need to add some more details like how it helps the environment to use less gas. You may need to check and see if the keywords look like good ones if you change your title to "why" instead of how but just keep in mind that it has to pass ezine's standards.

        Good luck

You have a title that promises info - and an article that delivers nothing. It says basically "gas is more expensive than it used to be". That's not anything the average person doesn't already know.

The article is slightly over 300 words with several errors in it. The only sentence that applies to the title is

"take out the motor and buy electric motor and a bunch of batteries"

You have established no credibility in that article. You have three references to yourself - "not that old", "my mom" and mentioned that 'supposedly' gas cost more in the 90's - that seem to say "I'm a kid'. That's not what you want to tell readers when you are suggesting they remove the engine from their automobile.

I need to get out several fast and editing takes time up
What's the point in "getting out" fast articles that are full of errors and lacking in information - if you can't get them approved or interest people in reading them? There is no point to that. Better quality, no errors, more information will take longer and require more effort but gets results.

There are plenty of other articles directories - but none get the attention of EZA. If you want EZA acceptance you have to up your game. That's the hard truth.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Well said Kay - very informative reply that truly sums up the entire problem with the article. Fortunately you provide the reasons why and that will help the original poster fix this article and write better articles from this day forward.

Change the title to better fit the article or use one of the other great directories online .

Sometimes it is easier to use a different directory but ... if the title is saying one thing and the body another ... wil the end user experience produce the effects you desire ?

Well, you can give the procedure, but just not in full detail. I assume you're selling a manual or something that shows them what they need to know step by step. So instead focus your headline on the target. People that "Want to save on gas" people who are sensitive to the environment. Make your headlines and keyword focus to them.

Research some keywords like "save on gas" and write about the benefits of having electric over gas. Then finish it up with,"And you can do it yourself with this easy step by step manual!"

Try the "rant"! they always get great views. "Stop Buying New Hybrids!" And your whole article will be about why they don't have to, that they can do it themselves with this here manual of motor changing magic.

And remember, use the keyword in the heading and about once per paragraph for increase your rating.

Three weeks ago I knew none of this, now I do thanks to my link down below.

HAHAHAHA......was that oversalesy? Kidding. I really just thought it'd be funny...even though it's kinda true. I'm tempted to use the silly face emoticon here but I keep forgeting I'm not on Facebook IM. ARG there it goes. Has a mind of it's own. Curses!!!!

      Try doing the following:

1 - Change the article title to "EV Conversions - Save Money On Gas When You Convert Your Car To Run On Electricity"

2 - Clean up your sentence structure - The article reads a bit choppy and appears disheveled.

3 - I can't really tell the number of words in your article but it looks to be less than 400 - Add an additional paragraph and use it to focus on the saving money on your gas part.

      Hope this helps.

      Respectfully,
      Tim

While I'm not exactly familiar with article "spitting", I do think EZA was right on this one. You never really revealed any steps on how to convert cars to run on electricity, so you didn't deliver on the title's promise.

You could use curiosity in your title instead of a promise:

"Ev Conversions - Can You Really Convert Your Own Car To Run On Electricity?"

Something like that anyway. You probably have enough body copy to deliver on that title I would imagine. HTH

The above statements are duly noted and agreed with, but again, you have to find a target...several of them. Plenty of people search on how to make their home more green, how to save on gas, many are now into the whole "carbon footprint" thing. If you lay out what they like and then embellish on it a bit, and then you offer an item that will teach them how to carry out their action, that should be a sale. Maybe even referrals, who knows? It's a crazy crazy world.

Here's a gift for you. I didn't proofread it very well, so check it for gremlins. And you're the electric car expert, so check my math :-)

If you like the article, feel free to use it and put your name on it. I'd be interested to know if EZA accepts it. Let me know.

Is It Worth Converting Your Car To Electricity?

I'm not that old, but I can still remember when things were a lot cheaper. I remember my Mom complaining about gas prices back then too.

I guess it's all relative. I'll leave the theory of inflation, and how the prices are relatively the same given the value of the dollar, to the economists. I'm only interested in the "ouch" I feel when I pull up to the pump.

Back during the summer when gas prices were way out of control, I was thinking about how much money I could save if my car ran on something other than gas. I started looking into the possibilities.

I quickly decided that the claims about being able to run your car on hydrogen generated by water tanks under the hood were a bit ahead of their time.

And although the thought of running my car on waste oil from my nearest fast food joint sounded promising, I couldn't imagine it being a viable solution when I was driving across the Painted Desert with the family on vacation. Plus, I'd always feel hungry.

But electricity? Now that was something that intrigued me. There are school districts that operate electric buses, and if you've ever encountered a trolley on the Green Line in Boston, you've seen electricity powering a pretty good-sized engine. So why not an electric car?

It's not like it's impossible. Tesla Motors makes a pretty impressive electric Roadster that goes from 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds and gets up to 300 miles from one charge. But at $128,500, I'm not going to know the pleasure of sitting behind the wheel of that electric car anytime soon.

So that left me with looking for a way to convert my existing chariot into an electric car. Well, actually, it left me wondering whether or not it was even worth looking into converting my existing chariot into an electric car. Turns out, it just might be.

The U.S. government is offering a 10% energy credit toward the actual cost of converting your gasoline car to an electric car, with a maximum cap of $4,000. And if you live in California, or any of the other states that are pushing hard to reduce their smog levels, you can qualify for a lot of financial incentives.

California, for example, offers discounted electricity rates for your electric car battery charger; automobile insurance discounts; and even access to the carpool lanes (a BIG plus in L.A.), even if you're the only person in the car.

And then there's the gasoline savings.

Let's say that your car gets 25 MPG highway and gasoline costs $4.00 per gallon where you live. Electricity costs you .10 per Kilowatt Hour (KWH).

OK. So you're driving along at a steady 50 MPH (not on the Santa Monica Freeway!) and your conservative Ford Taurus is cranking out about 40 horsepower (HP). Let's do the math:

746 Watts = 1 HP. So, driving one hour at 50 MPH consumes 29.84 KWH of electricity, or 2 gallons of gasoline.

At $0.10/ per KWH, your cost is $2.98 for electricity, or $8.00 for 2 gallons of gas.

I don't know about you, but it looks to me like that's a pretty decent savings.

If the thought of skyrocketing gasoline prices has you thinking about trading in your gas guzzler for a bicycle, maybe you're a candidate for a good DIY gasoline to electric car conversion kit. Plenty of people are doing it.
