Posting PayPal Button in WF Post?

Hi All!

I'm trying to get a PayPal button into a WF post, but when I copy and paste the code from PayPal, all I see is the HTML code in the post and not the button! Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I've already referenced the BB Code tipsheet here but still can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks for your help!

Michelle

    Hi Michelle,

When you get the code from Paypal,
there should be a button somewhere
that says email link... click on that
and it'll give you a one line HTML
    code.

You can use that one instead.

Thanks for your help, but that didn't work. All I see is the HTML code again, not the button!

      Thanks,

You have to take it from the email link.

There is one in my link below - go check out the source code by pretending you are going to quote my link or look at the source code.

I can't remember what I did exactly, but I definitely know I took it from the email link.

It pulls a generic graphic from paypal, and you put your email link for the payment part. It's coming back to me.

When you click create button, and reach the page on which you find the button code, and above the code box you'll find two choices : "website/email"

When you click on "email" you'll get a link instead of the code.

Copy this link in a notepad.

Upload your button image to your post, upload it as a regular image and place it where you want it to be in your post.

After uploading the image, click the link icon in the message editing icons, add the link you get earlier from PayPal as your image link.

Use this code (BB Code) in your post:

    [URL=https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=BUTTON_ID][IMG]https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_buynowCC_LG.gif[/IMG][/URL]

    Replace
    https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=BUTTON_ID
with the button link from PayPal

Here's the preview of the above code:

Hey,i would suggest you not to go for that option of keeping a button in the post.
