Clickbank Product Launch Suggestions

Signed up my first product on clickbank last week. I wish I had waited until my eBook site was out of the google sandbox, as I understand that you need to get some clickbank sales quickly or they torpedo your product if you don't get a sale in 30 days.

Off the top of my head, I believe Jeff Walker has a product launch product.

Not seen it myself but he's one of the few "gurus" who actually walks the walk, and he's been behind numerous big launches himself, so it's based on real world experience.

I think IIRC Stompernet had some solid product launch stuff.

There was a recentish one by Anik Singal's lot, I believe it was called "Launch Tree", there's probably some reviews in the relevent forum here.

First thing I would do is write out a plan. When do you want to release your product to the public? Schedule it, then start to build content and reach out to any partners you currently have. You can put together a small launch in just a couple weeks. Of course, that all depends on what has been finished, and if you already have several key elements set up such as payment processor, secure download infrastructure, etc

The premise of a great product launch is creating an event. You don't just want to make a sales page "live", then tell people to go purchase. How many people these days read an entire sales letter anyway? 1-2%, right? Instead, take you intended sales message and break it up into pieces. Deliver these carefully crafted sales sequence leading up to the launch day. This method works like gangbusters to pre-sell you prospects before they can make a purchase.

Hopefully you have a list, and can start warming them up with this "pre-launch" content leading up to launch day. This method of delivering content is very powerful, and psychological gets your prospects into the purchasing mindset with proven buying triggers that will do the heavy lifting for you.

There is Frank Control and his Mass Control product, and he is responsible / behind some big launches, in IM and in other niches - including the amazingly successful MindMovies product (they use his mass control system and guidance).

I like Frank Kern, but I don't know if it is what you are looking for - it is more, imo, a marketing systems guide - writing copy that sells, and using different elements like blogging, emails, newsletters, and videos to sell your product than a step by step guide on which forums to join, where to go to recruit affilaites, where to advertise etc

There is the aptly titled product from Jeff Walker "Product Launch Formula". I think that this came before Frank Kerns stuff, and maybe even that Frank learnt a lot of his stuff from / with Jeff (?), but I haven't seen this full system and can't comment on what it does and doesn't contain - only that it is well rated..:

Here in the Warrior Forum, there is a product called Perpetual Launch Formula by Tanner. It has helped me understand product launches as well as create perpetual ones. It will guide you even from writing your autoresponder series. Look it up. I believe it is in the WSO forum.

So what would you guys say is the best way to get affiliates to promote your product?

I've seen that JV notify site, but that doesn't really seem to be valuable. It looks really gimicky.
