How many sales do you make per day?

I'm getting ready to launch my product and I'm trying to calibrate my sales expectations and goals. For those of you who sell products, I'm wondering how many sales you make per day, per product: a) the first month, and b) after the first year. Can you also specify your general product sector?

I know this all depends on choice of niche, pricing, aggressiveness of marketing, number of affiliates, etc. I'm just looking for generic survey results to help me figure out what levels are reasonable.

Why would you set your expectations based on others results?

    Just a question.

depends where you are wanting to sell. If you sell on warrior forum you can make heaps very quickly. However if you set your own site up it can be slower but you will make more sales over a longer period of time.

Wow, there is no standardized way to answer this. There are some many variables like your subject, pricing, marketing plan, channel mix etc, etc...

We'd need a lot more detail (which I wouldn't necessarily openly post) to even give you a ballpark estimate of an answer.

Depends upon your product. You simply do not sale as many BMW cars as you would sell say a Honda Civic car, right? Also, you would not sale as many cars as you would sell butters. But the profit levels you make with butter, Honda Civic car and BMW car per sell is different, right?

So it is impossible to really answer your question. Ask your soul - what is a reasonable number to sell and how to keep the sales rolling for a long time? Do accordingly rather than let others set benchmarks for you.
