[8,000th Post] Would Like To Meet A Bouncer..

Maybe one of my favourite quotations will help with the
context..

The size of the future you actually experience will largely be determined by one factor: the people you choose to connect with. When you invite people who are truly committed to growth into every aspect of your life, your own potential for growth becomes truly unlimited.
~~Dan Sullivan
One of the factors that has had a huge impact upon my
success is building relationships with the right people.

I'm already in regular contact with a number of fellow
warriors, we share ideas, discuss aspirations, occasionally
we work together. But most of all we question and challenge
each other, we bounce ideas and plans around.

The purpose of this thread is to encourage you to team up
with people who are at a similar level to you. Set up a regular
Skype call, share ideas, challenge each others thinking, push
your colleagues to set and achieve stretching goals.

One of the biggest barriers to success in online marketing is
the isolation. Regular communication with other marketers
is good for business.

BUT, don't look for people who are just like you! You shouldn't
be looking for clones, you don't want people who will simply
tell you what they think you want to hear.

Find people who have a different view, people who's approach
is different to yours. You need that spark, that energy that
a bit of conflict can generate.

Go for it!

John
P.S. If you think we could challenge each other let me know.

      Hi John

      Congrats on your 8,000th!

Great post about communicating, the isolation and the cloning!

I've found through experience that working with 'clones' just doesn't work at a practical level although I hadn't really thought through why, until I read your post.

      >>P.S. If you think we could challenge each other let me know.

I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy!

      Cheers,

      Neil

    8000th post. Congratz!

Oh, and one last thing since you asked for a challenge. I wish there's a challenge here for guys with more that 5000 post to select newbies and guide them. The first newbies group who will be able to make a decent product launch and earn lets say $10,000.00 in two weeks will be the winner...

What do you say about that john?

Congratulations Taylor. I especially enjoy exchanging barbs with you on Skype.

Of course, now I must mull over your subject line "Would Like To Meet A Bouncer..". I have a roomful of hamsters computing the various possibilities of its meaning. They are entering the regional factors into their computations -- like living amongst ducks too long, excessive rain having turned your brain soggy, all that over-cooked oatmeal lodged in your intestines ...

          Hi John,

          Congrats on the 8000 posts!

I for one have learned a lot reading them.

Your OP reminded me of an ebook I had read a few years ago titled:
          The Mindset And The Mastermind.

So, I dug it up, blew off the cyber dust and decided to make it
available so other Warriors here could read it too.

No strings attached and no sign-up required.

Here's the link: The Mindset And The Mastermind

Thanks again for all you insightful posts.

          Have a Great Day!

          Bev,

Try using Whiteboard Meeting For Skype...
WhiteBoardMeeting allows users to draw vector graphics, insert text and images, edit existing objects. All users see eachother creating and editing objects right away.

You can have multiple meetings with different user groups at the same time. You can even invite other users after you have prepared the work offline.

And all this in WhiteBoardMeeting Basic without having to pay anything. But of course you can buy WhiteBoardMeeting Pro and collaborate without limits.
It makes it a lot easier to communicate ideas when you
          add a visual element.

        Hey John,

        8000 posts - well done....

I agree with you about the networking....I have found that it's
very limiting to have only yourself to bounce ideas around. It's
so much easier to have like minded people, whom you can trust,
to chat to and brainstorm with.

        Now, to expand my group......

        Regards

    Hey John,

I really hope everyone rereads your post and then takes the time to think about. Especially the part about getting involved in a mastermind group. I'm involved with such a group and boy are they diversified.

Ideas slash through Skype every day and some great fun slinging a barb or two at everybody. One of the things we do together is to motivate each other to take action on our ideas.

Then there is the matter of accountability too the group as a whole as well as yourself. Sometimes its much easier to carry through a project when you are accountable to the mastermind group.

John, congrats on the 8003 now and here's looking forward too being around to read your 16,000 post.
