Hello everybody!

Firstly I would like to thank all of the people who contribute to this wonderful community. I recently joined after spending about 6 hours reading post after post after post, from the comfort of my iPhone while in bed.

I recently joined because, as of today, I launched my very first eBook to sell (yay!) based upon my personal experience tackling asthma. I've set up my website pitch page, integrated Clickbank, and set aside a $1000 budget for Google Adwords, basically everything is there ready to roll and make $$. I'm totally excited.

Right now I'm using the forums to help learn the best way to use Adwords to target traffic for as cheap as possible. At first I thought I knew what was going on, but now I realize that I have so much to learn. I already have a few courses of action I'm going to take such as finding the best keywords, integrating clickbank and Adwords to track conversions on keywords, using Adword's dynamic keyword to URL, clickbank TIDs, etc.

But there is another aspect that I'm currently unable to find help on this forum's search for: Getting affiliates

The big reason why I went with Clickbank for my eBook is so that I (hopefully) would have a lot of people interested in affiliating my eBook. The problem is, how do I go about attracting affiliates? My site has only be approved by Clickbank for about 16hrs if it matters.

If anybody knows of some great ways to attract people to affiliate my eBook, please let me know, and many thanks in advance!

Otherwise, hello everybody!!!

    Hi Tim,

Consider adding an information link at the bottom of your main sales page that says "affiliates."

Look into some JV forums - some you can pay to post your new product is launching and you are looking for affiliates.

You can post in this forum in the classifieds.

Some things you may want to prepare - banners for affiliates to use on their sites, and emails that are prepped for mail campaigns.

Hope that gives you some ideas, and good luck!

Hi Tim and WELCOME! Please learn all you can possibly do with Adwords before starting to spend that money. I personal don't know enough about it to advise you, but what I do know is that you can lose every penny of it if you don't know exactly how to do it. So take care and I'm excited for you to start your adventure. Best of luck.

Welcome to the forum. I would definitely do some keyword research before you tackle adwords. Also use $37 of you $1000 and join the war room. It will be the best investment for you and your biz. Also congrats on the product you created and good luck

Thanks for the kind response all!

When you guys say "JV Forums" that means the joint venture forums, right? Just double-checking.

Thanks for the tips on creating banners and emails for those prep campaigns that affiliate vendors could focus on, I like it! For the Adwords things, I agree I should learn more, theres just so much information it is hard to figure out where to start. There seems to be a million posts about Adwords, of which I'm reading a ton, however, is there any primer or must-read Adwords posts you can think of?

I looked at the War room membership, and I have no problem paying for it if its useful, but is it really useful? The forum stats for the War room show far less posts than the other forums, which makes me a bit afraid it might be "dead" so to speak. But I also am not even sure what the War room forum has that these other forums don't? Is it really that useful, and why?

Cheers again and many thanks for the responses, I'm glad to have joined this community!
