Question about Clickbank Affiliate Hop Stats...

I need to spend more time looking around in my CB account. I just discovered a link to Analytics - that runs off the right side of my monitor.

In there, I can see a list of my affiliates, their hops and sales, etc. One entry is named "Not Set" which is not an affiliate name because for one thing it has a space and for another, it shows 0 hops.

BUT... it does show 2 completed sales.

I thought it might be the 2 test purchases I ran when I posted this product on CB, but that doesn't make sense because the price was set to $0 for the tests. This entry shows sales totalling $66.

Can someone explain what this entry is?

I have submitted a query to CB, waiting for an answer. Thought this would be faster.

    This is just a natural sale from direct traffic or search traffic. Clickbank isn't fully integrated with the tracking for your website, but they are for all sales...

    ... so they only track hops to your website, and if a visitor just finds your site through google or whatever then obviously they don't land on your site through a clickbank hop - but then when they pay they still pay through the clickbank system so clickbank does register the sale but applies it to the "not set" ID

      Yes. That does make sense. I hadn't thought of that. This is the first thing I've sold through CB in a very long time, and they didn't have this feature back then.

      That's good news. It means some of my own marketing is actually paying off.
