Four Challenging Questions About Link-Building -- Anyone Care To Answer?

If you were commissioned by a client to obtain "DoFollow" PR3 and higher links from GENUINE blogs, .edu sites, .org sites (not the porno-ridden chatrooms but the actual PR6 and PR7 forums that exist on many University Websites), I have four questions for you:

1) Would you prefer to keep control of this calibre of link-building yourself or would you still outsource it?

2) If you HAVE ever outsourced link-building from high authority sites including .org and .edu websites, which outsourcing company / freelance provider did you use?

3) How much would you charge your client for say, 40 hours work (regardless of whether YOU sourced the links or a freelancer sourced them for you).

4) Give or take, how many QUALITY LINKS OF THIS CALIBRE would you realistically and reasonably expect to acquire within a 40 hour working period?

I would not outsource because I have my own list of sites that I regularly use for backlinks and I would not want to send that list to anyone else.

If the client has specified "no porno chatrooms" then I would also be hesitant about allowing an outsourcer to do the job because there is a certain level of trust that the client is placing in me when hiring me.

I have to agree that if I had a client with such specific requirements I would not be outsourcing. Now if you already had a trusted worker that you had been using awhile then it may be a different thing but I would not take a chance on a relationship with a client with a new hire.
