Google Dance Again?

Hi,

I just want to ask about my website that dropped 10 spots after doing some serious Edu.backlinking.

Is it the well known "Google Dance" to suddenly lose my ranking and how long will this continue before my site gets back at it`s position?

This is really boring losing all of my traffic in a snap just like that

    Yes it looks like you got the Google dance which usually happens when you do a little too much backlink building. There is no fix time how long it will take before you get back your original ranking. For me it usually takes a few days to a week. During this time you should continue to do backlink building and when it comes back you will see a better ranking for your website.

    Yep, sounds like the 'Dance' alright. Let them lead.

    It can last as little as a couple of days and as much as a month or 5 weeks, from what I've seen. Just do your best to ignore "doomsday" thinking and keep going. Add content, get more links, etc. etc. It all washes out in the end.
