Alertpay Is There Any One Who Has Used It Here?

Is there any warrior who has ever used Altert pay? I am becoming uncomfortable with paypal as I am using my friend's address in India for paypal but ever since Paul Meyers started a thread here yesterday, I get paranoid about the arrangement.

Is there any alternative?

I know 2checkout accept Nigerians and I am moving my things to them but there is no way I can buy WSOs with 2checkout.

No sir, I can not use paypal from Nigeria I will have to travel to another country to get it done.

You should have thought about that before starting the WSO.

        Hi Yommy,

I too have used Alertpay for a number of years. I've never experienced any problems with them. I've paid money to others, received money and have transferred money to and from my bank account. Completely flawless service each and every time.

I think their slightly "tarnished" reputation may stem from the fact that they were initially heavily associated with PTC sites (all ponzi schemes in my opinion, but what do i know! )

        Cheers

    Hi guys

I joined Alertpay a few days ago but haven't actually used the service yet however the joinup process was pretty thorough & similar to Paypal. I noticed looking through my emails that they've been around for some time & have been used by plenty of others. Their charges are around 2-4.5%.

I don't think there would be any harm in giving them a go.

Contact the help desk and ask them if it's possible and if so, how we do it so your name appears on the WSO and not mine.

Get all the details and email me at incansoft@gmail.com when you are ready to do it.

You seem like a one of the good guys, so I'll trust you'll do everything properly
No, I don't plan lauch an WSO any time soon. What I mean is how do I pay people for their WSO.

I am travelling to Benin Republic to pay some people I owe and to buy a couple of WSOs but I have decided to stop using paypal very soon.

My usage of their service is illegal and that may cause problems for my friend so I have to move my money out there ( have no choice than to spend it online ) as soon as possible. I can get someone to buy certain WSOs for me, but how do I pay them back? I can't do money gram or western union either.

For those who may advise me to move, it is not easy getting visa to America or any part of Europe and even if I move, I will need to be a residence of any country for some time before I am allowed to open an account there.

As far as i am aware only if the WSO Vendor has an Alertpay account or is willing to give you their bank account details for you to forward a payment. Don't quote me on that! I'm just currently reading through their knowledgebase.

Not unless the seller have a alert pay account. You can't move your money from your paypal to your alert pay either.

I have a account on alertpay due to the same reason, that is paypal does not operate in my country ( they must be mental as there is no reason to exclude countries as big as nigeria and pakistan from their service). As far as I know, alertpay has a good service.

    PS. what is a WSO?

I have an Alert Pay account and have for probably 7-8 years. Never had an issue with it.

As others have said the only way to pay using Alert Pay is if the member selling it is willing to accept that method of payment.

I've had an alertpay account for 4 years - I set it up as backup in case I ever had problems with PayPal.
I've never had any problems with Alertpay, or PayPal come to that, except those days when no money gets paid into it.
