Wordpress site?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hey guys. I have a product that I want to sell (ebook). I have hosting and a domain for it, however, I have no idea how to make a wordpress website. Any advice????

I dont know which hosting provider you are using, but I use
Hostgator and they make wordpress installation very easy through
Fantastico, in just a few clicks. Once that is done, you can put up
your theme and plugins that you need.

I've installed WordPress on 1&1 several times - you need to do a manual install.

First you'll need to create a MySQL database, on 1&1 pay attention to the database server as it is not "localhost".

Then you get a copy of WordPress from wordpress.org. Unzip it and modify the configuration file with the parameters of your new database.

FTP the files to your host and then run the install program. And you're good to go!

If you're just beginning, you don't really have to "make" a Wordpress site. Just Google "free Wordpress theme" and you will find tons of good ones to download. If you have more time, Google "premium Wordpress theme" and check some of those sites as they always feature some free themes in their portfolio, and you will have some good quality stuff.
