?? Why is Google Using My DMOZ site description?

Carefully laid out plans...FAIL!

After carefull optomizing my site for the best keyword descriptions, google has now decided that the description used in DMOZ is better!

Useless...

DMOZ description: Gift Baskets for all occasions, serving homes and businesses across Canada, from Vancouver, BC

My description: Free Ground Shipping On All Our Gift Baskets Canada. Gift Baskets Canada Provides Gourmet Gift Baskets, Wine Gift Baskets, Baby Gift Baskets and More!

Uhhhh which one would make you buy my stuff!

Google had my description up until today! Even the title has reverted back to 2002 levels!

Is there a reason for this? Has anyone else experienced this before?

    Oh....I found out why...Bad Stinkin' Luck! My site was down for a few hours that day...and I guess that's when Googlebot decided to pay me a visit! (I was messing around with my hosting account that minute so totally my fault!)

    Now I have to wait another two weeks for another crawl!

      Try submitting a site map to Google Webmaster tools to get the bot to come back quicker.
