Hi Guys... sorry, friend. :p

Putting something together and I want to know what "Dear xxxx" you've seen a sales letter (or email) start with. I see A LOT of "Dear Friend" which always amuses me, I never knew I had so many friends!

I've also seen Dear Entrepreneur.

What other ones have you seen or do you remember? I know there are more out there, my mind just won't co-operate and remember them.

Thanks for any responses!

Target it to your niche and to the problem

For example if you are in the gardening niche

    Dear gardening enthusiast

IM niche, one of the biggest problems is generating money/traffic so you would say

    Dear struggling entrepreneur,

In my experience there is no need for it whatsoever.

When I write salesletters, I go straight into the sales copy.

It has zero effect on conversion rates from what I have seen.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. My bad, apparently singing along to Nickelback and writing a post doesn't mesh well...

I'm after IM related ones - dear internet marketer, dear entrepreneur, etc.

And, I'm after them to use as examples in a spoof I'm writing, not to actually use myself.

      Sorry guys.

I've seen, Dear [First Name] quite a few times.

    Always elicits a smile.

You'd think people would test their autoresponders just
to prevent embarrassing stuff like that.
