Bookmarking All Pages Or Just The Main Ones

Hey,

I'm bookmarking many of my sites and was wondering how you warriors do your bookmarking, to be exact.
Do you bookmark pages like, contact, about, privacy policy, sitemap etc.

pages that are not really keyword based.

Take Care

Usually I would just bookmark my main or popular pages. It's those contents that will grab people's attention and make them stay.

Okay NK, would you consider to bookmark the sitemap?

Well I'm talking more about bookmarking with software, should have mentioned that before.

I'm not for spamming but I think somehow that all bookmarking with software is some kind of spam

Okay maybe I should have bean very specific with what I do.
I build adsense snipers (xfactor) 3-4 page websites, I bookmark the all those pages and I was thinking of bookmarking the other ones to but thats stupid if I think about some more, like you said would probably just get me banned.

Will also save time to skip them.

I use proxies to don't really worry about that.

Its just the website I worry about and the time spent on it.

I only usually bookmark my blog posts or static HTML pages
where I feel I've got really good content.

Bookmarking is something you probably should do if you
want to be an effective promoter, but there are a lot of other
things you should be doing too don't get caught up in the busywork
of bookmarking everything when you could be generating new
    content and real backlinks.

I don't want to bash bookmarking, but really, making an intelligent
comment on a popular blog may be a better use of your time
in terms of human visitors. Bookmarking will get your sites spidered
a lot, but you need other types of backlinks for any substantial
volume of human traffic for most niches.

Exception: If you bookmark and Digg a page as "Guy gets kicked
in the nuts - hilarious!" you may get some real human traffic, but
Jackass style traffic is not the right demographic for most niches.

Same things apply. I use submitters too. Foolish not to.

If you want to be a bookmark spammer, suit yourself,
but it will get you banned. The more pages you bookmark
the less motivated you'll be to think up interesting taglines
    and titles for your bookmarks.

If you've only got a couple of small sites it doesn't really
matter if you want to focus on bookmarking every move
you make, but if you're running a lot of sites the time spent
setting up submitters to bookmark every page is better
    spent in other ways, imo.

I outsource so the IP will be different. I actually have no idea if that makes a difference, but just something that occurred to me. (And I sold my Singapore server years ago)

I wouldn't bookmark a sitemap since it serves no real purpose imo. Just the main/popular contents as I've said.

  • Bookmark the page that makes sense. You are not going to be rewarded for bookmarking content pages that are irrelevant.

Yeah I just thought that If I bookmark the sitemap the SEs will pick the site up faster.

You can submit sitemaps to Google Webmasters directly so you won't ever have to worry about the spiders not being able to pick them up

Thats true but there are plenty of other SEs out there that you would like to be picked up by.

Anyway I will just be submitting my main pages. That will be for the best

I would be wary of overuse of bookmarking for some of the reasons stated before.

However my real beef is that the backlinks are minimally worth it and many are nofollow and that the traffic you get from social bookmark browsers is junk traffic.

I tried it last year quite heavily and it seemed to me to be a big waste of time.

Maybe i am doing it wrong but it seemed like time i could spend elsewhere.

I just bookmark the main site for some backlinks and exposeure and maybe some other pages but not usually.

I'll need to give it a try and see how it works for me.

Thats my plan from now on, but when use traffic bug I always only submit the keyword pages/posts.

    Thanks
