The Business of Giving - I Finally Found My Niche

I know it's nothing new, but I finally found my niche!

I've been in the entertainment industry all my life as a struggling musician though I've had my moments, such as playing Glastonbury Festival and performing in front of 25,000 in St George's Square, Glasgow at the turn of this millennium. So it is strange that it took me so long to realise that what came naturally to me as an entertainer could be used for my new internet enterprise, and that because I enjoy it so much I don't actually mind giving it all away, (though there of course is a hidden pay-back, or my wife would throw me out on the streets).

After all... the old joke has a lot of truth in it... What do you call a musician without a girlfriend? Answer - Homeless!

So what's it all about?

As I recently read in Oz's Q Factor report on the Warrior Forum, it is all about giving and keeping your quality standards up, integrity and all that. Thank you Oz for those words of wisdom.

So I'm going out of my way to interview people with a great story to tell, with great products they wish to promote, and I'm digging into their grey matter to extract their secret strategies and motivations to pass onto anyone who's interested in generating enthusiasm and purpose in their own particular fields of expertise.

Kicking off with interviews specializing in internet marketing, I landed exclusives from a young guy of 17 called Jesse Kemmerer (on this forum) who's been marketing online successfully for 2 years using a number of different methods from online gaming to networking on social forums etc. And my big scoop was an incredible interview with a guy who has himself interviewed many hugely successful marketers and authors from Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad), Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul / The Secret) to multi billionaires such as Ted Nicholas, via other notables such as Dan Kennedy, Joe Vitale etc etc... There's too much to list here. This guy and his site are a storehouse of information.

But it's not all about the super rich. Much of it is down-to-earth, closer to the start-up level, though still concentrating on interviewing people who have got the ball rolling and are making a great living online. I managed to line up some other very special interviews, and... I love doing this, so naturally my newfound vocation is helping my business to get bigger and better very quickly. And doing this sort of work is bringing me into contact with people such as two Australians (also on this forum - Bronwyn and Keith) who have developed some incredible software for constructing SEO optimised and populated websites in 10 mins. - I kid you not.

These interviews not only bring me into contact with cutting edge software and techniques, but my list of friends is also increasing rapidly. No wonder interviewers such as Opra are so popular, because they have many many influential friends as a natural by-product of their chosen career.

Finding one's niche or vocation has a dramatic effect on one's success... I procrastinated for two years, looking at different methods of marketing, The funny thing was that I refused to get into promoting internet marketing itself, simply because I was not an expert. Trying to find something which I felt good about was the sticking point, and it was only when I realised very recently, that my personal skills which were right under my nose were the gateway into this market, and that I was able to feel that I had something real to offer. The fact that I have a background in entertainment has been my passport into this vast market, allowing me to extract insider knowledge from the experts, and therefore being able to pass on this knowledge to the public. In other words, I'm the reporter, not the expert, though I suppose I am now the expert reporter - ha-ha.

There are a lot of sites devoted to bringing expert interviews to the public, though you'll find that most sites charge for this. My personal view is that if I give, doing what I enjoy doing, then everything will grow naturally, and in the end I will have a valuable internet resource which will enable me to earn a living online. The Law of Karma.

And the hidden pay-back.... is simply the opportunity for affiliate sales from products that are promoted by my guests, though I hasten to add that not all guests have products or affiliate programs. My prerequisite is simply to give great and entertaining content. This is also the philosophy of the interviewee that I mentioned earlier, and is a breath of fresh air, when most people are simply trying to extract money from their site traffic by any means possible.

Free resources such as these are a portal to vast and varied methods of earning from the internet... a focus on various methods that have proved to be successful by certain individuals, who tell you how and what they are doing, which helps everyone to find their own particular niche, as I have personally achieved with regard to this project.

Not only am I concentrating on successful internet marketing techniques, but I'm also very much looking forward to interviewing inspirational personalities who are experts in Self Improvement and motivation. By providing this information I hope to be an inspiration to all who find my material. Next week I have the honour of interviewing Mr Positive (David Boufford), who has shared the stage with such notables as Anthony Robbins, Bob Proctor, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra etc. etc.

It has taken many years to undo the conditioning of education, of how we are all directed to fit into society, now it is my intention simply to give. I love giving... I think most people do, and most people know in their heart that doing what is natural and feels great brings wonderful benefits in return.

Thanks for reading and best wishes,

So glad you liked it... The site is still brand new and therefore there's a lot still to do, not only interviews but all the other promotional stuff to increase traffic. Since you listened to the Michael Senoff interview you'll be on the mailing list... I have some great stuff coming up, and I'm committed to making this a great resource. Thank you for your support.
