Has Macys Has Taken A Lesson From Internet Marketers?
A recent Macys commercial claims that they will install your carpet for $97.
Why do I find that fascinating?
Because years ago, it would have been $99.95 or $99.
Today, it's $97...something IMers have been doing for a while.
Coincidence?
I don't think so. I think Macys has been doing their homework and realize
the effectiveness of this pricing strategy.
What do you think?
And...has any other offline businesses done this?
So far...Macys is the only one I've found. Even the car dealers are
advertising "$99 and a job" to get a car loan.
