Creating A Money-Spewing System That Makes $100 A Day. Come Share Your Thoughts & Experiences!

Hey Warriors,

I've been a lurker for a while. I dabble at the moment selling stuff.
I use secret methods, like article marketing (look it up, hardly anyone
does this...) selling the odd CB product.

Anyway...

I sat down with my wife at the weekend and we mapped out all of
our living costs, including pesky debt repayments. The whole booty.
Then we broke that figure down into a per day amount, as it is less
scary looking at it this way. I highly recommend doing this!

So what did our living costs come to PER DAY?

That figure was £51. Or in the Internet world, $100 a day.

So that is my target. That is my goal.

Now the part I would love to get some feedback on...

See, I figure that while I have this 'blank canvas' in front of me,
ready for my big plan-of-action to be laid down and followed, now
is the time to decide what kind of factors I want in my plan, in
order to earn the amount we have chosen.

So...

One major factor I want is AUTOMATION. I would prefer my
$100 a day money-spewing system to require less than ONE
hour a day to maintain, once up and running. This is a guideline.
Naturally, to get it to that point may take many months.

Another important factor is longevity. Remember, this is to provide
for my wife and I for a very long time indeed. Heck, life hopefully.

So I want to ensure I don't put all my eggs into one basket.

And I don't want to put ANY eggs into a system which is
fickle, or of high risk.

Okay, before I ramble any further, I would love to get some feedback
on a few things I got running through my mind. Sorry to take so long
to get to my questions!

***QUESTIONS ARE HERE***

Firstly, from your experience, is it easier or harder, to sell multiple
low-priced items every day compared to high priced items?

For example, selling FIVE $20 items vs ONE $100 item. What is the general
consensus on this?

Secondly, for the "not all eggs in one basket" rule, do you believe it makes
more sense for me to build 4 individual mini-businesses that each produce
$25 a day, instead of one bigger entity?

Lastly, I was just thinking about recurring earnings, like you get from member
sites. Surely it would be smarter to market recurring based products/services
than one-time only items? Anyone have any links to decent sites which list
affiliate programs that are recurring based?

Thank you so much for reading. I do realise that there really is no black and
white answer for what I asking, so please do share your opinions and
experiences. That is what I am here for.

I look forward to contributing back to this forum in due time.

Best Regards,

Jordan

It's great you sat down to figure it out. Make sure to write down your golas as well, guess you sort of did already.

It's going to be tough to get to an hour a day, unless you out source work or automate something like PPC. Everything else is going to at least take marketing/traffic generation, search engine traffic doesn't stay around forever. Not that an hour a day is impossible.

Many people say it takes just as much to sell a higher ticket item as it does a lower priced one. Hard to say, too many variable, conversion rates, quality of traffic, ect.

As for selling multiple items, again, so many variables, but as you said does spread out the eggs. I prefer to have multiple sites/products.

      Thanks Ron.

You know, it WAS great to sit down and work out exactly what we needed.
The clarity from that real simple and obvious step was brilliant.

I hear what you're saying regarding the hour a day factor. I definitely view
reaching that level as a long term goal. I just want to acknowledge that
outcome right from the off, as it may prove valuable to me in working out
      my plan of action.

I am excited about one day outsourcing ALL tasks which I dislike, and
just leaving me to do only the things I ENJOY to do. That's the goal.

      Cheers,

      Jordan

You must get started doing something that will move you towards your goal - which is at least the first steady income stream right?

It really depends on you and your lifestyle as to how you want to approach your money making system.

If you want lots of automation in your marketing then you'll either have to...

    - pay someone to do the marketing for you or...

    - SEO - which doing some work in the beginning of the process with minimal monthly upkeep.

    - or cut your marketing tasks down to the minimum using content and submitters.

One thing's for sure, you need to get moving asap testing a product/service or niche and get to promoting.

    - Once you learn how to slapup a presell page/site and become a master of traffic generation - nothing can stop you from achieving most any goal you set.

    Hope that helps!

      Hey TL,

      That helps, thanks.

I agree with you on starting sooner. I know how easy it is to fall into the
trap of not doing, and often see people never starting. Just gathering
      knowledge.

I do this already in part. I have taken action, and gotten results. BUT I
have learned WAY more than I have actioned.

But then again, most people are probably the same.

Now though, I want to start applying more of my knowledge.

I think before, I was doing 20% action, 80% learning.

Time to flip that me thinks ;-)

      Cheers,

      Jordan
