Amazon Sites Profitable?

Hi warriors, I am trying to buy one or two amazon sites on flippa but not sure how to promote these type of sites.

Is there any warrior who has one or two amazon sites? How do you promote them? Are they profitable?

    Hey Yommy,

are you referring to Amazon product style sites or Amazon Book sites (like a site attached to a published book)?

I haven't tried either yet, but am looking into the latter.

SEO is the preferred route, but you could also advertise in related forums like if you were selling golf clubs, you could go to a golf forum and advertise there.

Are you talking about conduit-type sites? How many products do they have? or are they built to promote just one product (IPK style)?

If that`s a conduit site, which has 7-10 products on it, each page promoting a different product, then they should have no problem getting SEO traffic. Because they get easily ranked for product name keywords, and these visitors convert to buyers pretty good.

HOWEVER, from my experience, unless the site is not a few years old and promotes $1000 or more expensive items, it usually makes up to $300 per month, if even that. $100-$200 is normal for a ~7 page website.

Keep in mind also, that Amazon has a 1 day cookie.

        Hope this helps.
