best seo friendly ecommerce platform

Hello all,

I am about to launch an online dropship business and am needing advice on the best ecommerce platform to use that is seo friendly and was built with visitor usability in mind as well.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Hi, I have various e-commerce businesses and that use various carts. Some perform better than others and is usually dependant on how targeted / product specific they are (the more niche the website/product, the better). If you are developing the website yourself, try one of the popular open source platforms like Zen Cart, Cube Cart, Magento or OS Commerce.

    What is important with regards to SEO with any of the aforementioned platforms, is that you get the basics right:

    1) Choose a keyword rich URL/Domain Name, if possible

    2) Purchase a good mod to make your website search engine friendly, if it is needed (dependant on what Cart/Version you use)

    3) Make your page text keyword dense, but not too spammy (the right mix)

    Of course, use more advanced SEO techiques, after you get the basics right
