Affiliate Resources Page Design

Hey guys,

I wanting to setup an 'Affiliate Resources' page for a couple of my products.

By 'affiliate resources page' I mean it's the page where you would direct your affiliates to ( once they'd signed up) to find resources, to help them market the products (email copy examples - images - banners - articles and blog post they can use. That type of thing)

I was wondering if anyone can direct me what they think is a good 'affiliate' resources' page design for any product they may have marketed as an affiliate in the past.

I hope that question is clear

    Hey Glenn,

Not sure if I can help you out here, just wanted to tell you what I've noticed so far. I think I've seen around 20 or so affiliate pages and they all just seem to have a list of links (email examples, articles, graphics, etc.) that link to very simple pages listing everything you can use. No fancy graphics, whatsoever.

Affiliates usually know their way around the web so I don't think you should spend too much time with providing a "perfect" affiliate page. Just supply them with the stuff they need and go.

Same, I don't think they need to be perfect, just as long as they are easy enough to navigate, and that you do actually provide a lot of materials (and of different types i.e. ppc, keywords, articles, landers etc) for affiliates.

I would recommend looking at some of the top products on clickbank as these seem to have a LOT of affiliate resources - some longer than their sales page! Some of the weight loss guys and bodybuilding sites offer a LOT, as do the satalite to PC vendors, and also the green energy guys (earth4energy), and also worth looking at the WoW guys, and Make up with your Ex.... in fact, the more I think about it just look at the top gravity products, it seems to be what seperates those at the top to those at the bottom...

.. but yes there are lots of different formats and styles, but having a lot of info whatever style seems to be the consistent element

They don't need to be perfect, but you definitely want to give them a ton of different tools as not all affiliates will use the same methods for promoting your product.

I've designed so many for my stuff and other people's products, so if you want to see
some examples of what a promo tools page should look like, send me a PM

Personally, I prefer those that have a field where you enter you aff ID and it inserts it in all the links on the page

I have a small piece of software that creates such affiliate resource pages and I am planning to sell it soon.

If you are interested, PM me and I will give it to you free for testing...
