Need more traffic and hops

Hey everyone. I have a site that is converting well and has a list building, slowly but surely. Only problem is, I don't seem to be getting enough traffic. It's an affiliate site for a penny stock alert service, and I was wondering what you guys might think is the best way to generate some quick, easy traffic. 5-10 hops per day isn't exactly going to pay my bills any time soon, so I've got to figure it out. Any brilliant ideas?

    You could check out ezine and find articles getting thousands of views and submit 10-20 articles similar to theirs with a link to your site, submit them in the same category so you get a flood from recently submitted articles and hit the top viewed articles list as well

    Hey there,

    I would use Facebook & Twitter!

    Find groups on Facebook and find Gurus in your niche on Twitter!

    "Friend up" all the people on your niche on Facebook!

    Follow all the people following the Gurus on Twitter!

    Provide them with some links to awesome content and then mix your links into the mix.

    Best thing would be to provide link to Free Line Content that leads to sales.

    There are a lot of things you can do. Both free and paid ones. You can:

    1. Social bookmark your site

    2. Submit the RSS feed to aggregators

    3. Submit articles to article directories like ezine, goarticles....

    4. Turn your articles into videos and submit them to video
    sharing sites.

    5. Blog commenting.

    6. Follow people on twitter that are interested in your niche and
    tweet them your website every once in a while.

    7. You can go to niche realted forums and be active there while
    having a signature that points to your website.
    .....
    ....

    And then of course we have paid options like PPC, PPV...... If your
    site converts well then you can really ramp things up with PPC.

    What about getting your site ranked on Google for a few keywords? You could build a page per keyword, say 3 pages total, and backlink them, so they start climbing on Google, and you get traffic in a few months.

    Penny stocks????? My guess is that most penny stock investors got wiped out a year ago and are reluctant to dive into the penny stock waters again. A lot of people who once invested (time and money) into the stock markets are very gun shy these days.

    If that theory has some validity, I would aim articles and website content to that fear. Articles etc could be about WHY INVEST NOW in spite of the horrible events in the market a year ago. In other words, if you're writing articles as if nothing happened to stock a year ago very few people will want to read or trust you.

      I first ping my site url to pingler.com and then i submit my url to my top bookmarking sites:

      Digg
      Stumble
      Reddit
      Technorati

      Then after that i submit my articles to top article directories:

      ezine
      Goarticles etc

      These simple methods drives alot of targeted traffic to my website.
