How To Make Quick Emergency "Offline" Cash While Building Your Online Business!

I posted this idea on a thread not to long ago. I thought maybe more people could also benefit if I placed this in the main room.

www.CraigsList.org is FREE online publication, right?
You can search for Items for sale for FREE and you can post your ads for FREE.

First, choose your city or area.

1. Go to the category - For Sale.
2. Scroll down to FREE. (items in this category are free. People actually have household items they want to give away. Usually they are moving and need to get rid of the item fast.
3. Simply go buy and pick up the item. (don't forget to say "thank you".)
4. Take a pic of it.
5. Write a snazy ad and create a reasonable price for the item. Upload the pic and publish your ad for FREE.
6. Make sure to provide contact info so your customer can contact you in order to buy the item.

Rinse and Repeat.

A friend of mine used this exact system and she put about $35,000 in her pocket in less than 12 weeks.

Might sound crazy, but it works. I've flipped OPJ (Other People's Junk) several times and it's a great way to earn some fast cash. Another site that works well for flipping stuff is upillar.com

At the risk of sounding a bit conservative, but those people who give u stuff free to pick up do so really for personal use. I wonder how they feel like when they come across their stuff that they gave away free flouting on the craiglist for sale section.

I doubt they're thinking about it too hard. They just want to unload their item without shipping it or driving over to the Salvation Army.

Frankly speaking I would be livid in rage if I see giving away my household items free (hoping they are no used for commercial purpose) circulating immediately for sale on the same web platform.

Yeah but you could just as easily sell those items yourself! You would be enraged because you found out you could actually sell the product, and someone else did and made the money that you could have made lol.

Anyway, once you let it go to someone else, it isn't your place to be enraged about someone who came and got it from you then turned around and sold it.

I agree with suzanne, if I gave away something and found out someone else was selling it I wouldn't care...actually, I would say to myself darn"I wish I would have thought of that"

So if I buy a TV for personal use and then want to sell it, that's wrong? Get real!

It requires a lot of leg work but you "do what you gotta do" if you are desperate.

Hard work but a genuine, working business model that many people have made real money doing in various forms.

As other people have mentioned using ebay and other sites for your ads and running garage sales will also help you make more money.

In many areas coucils have put a limit on the number of garage sales you can run in a year...a clear sign that running regular garage sales has become a viable business model for some people.

      Kindest regards,

I didn't know that... apparently that doesn't apply in Austin, though, my neighbors seem to have a garage sale every Saturday XD

I suppose this is an advantage for me, then, surely they have repeat customers and we could get the spillover...
