Tax for non-resident alien receiving wire transfer from UK based company

Hi,

I should be coming to USA on H2B program to work temporarily.

But aside from that, I am self employed where I earn commission from affiliate marketing.

The company whose products I promote is UK based company and they send me earned commission 2 times a month (bank wire transfer).

So, my question is: How should I file taxes for this affiliate income while being non resident alien in the USA?

I am not in the USA yet, but I want to be prepared for this and know what to do when the time comes.

Thanks in advance!

You won't have to file until April 15th of at least next year, so the main thing is you just keep a record of your earnings.

Thanks... but I wanted to know how to handle all this... what's the correct procedure? That's what I would like to know.

For example: how is this handled? Is this treated as income generated in US or not? What the tax rate would be in this case?

I understand this is something that requires a professional advice, but was hoping some of you guys could shed some light on this

Lots of detailed info for you if you google

      irs non resident alien tax

The question is highly specific and you need factual information from the source. Answers here will be more "I think" or "it should be" - and that isn't what you need.
