Are You Still Looking for What to Do to Make Some Money? Steal My 3 Business Ideas

I have three ideas to share with those that are still searching for what to do to make money. The good news is that anybody that is willing to work can engage him/herself in any of the businesses and make money from it without much hassles.

None of the ideas is entirely new but maybe you have not really thought about doing any of them. Here are the ideas:

1. Sale of Images/Pictures/Avatars: Do you have a digital camera? Or do you have a camera phone? You can make money by putting it into good use. What do I mean? Do you know that many people in this forum are looking for images, pictures or avatars they can use. Search this forum and other forums to find out those that need such digital materials and take it up from there.

I have actually used this method to make some bucks online. How did I do it? I searched for people that are looking for pictures/images/avatars in forums, asked them what kind of image they want, look for such objects around my location, use my camera phone to snap the object and send it to them as an attachment.

2. Creating of Adsense Blog: Show your blogger blog to your friends, relatives, neighbours, classmates, club members, colleagues in the office, etc. that know nothing about the internet but have been showing interest.Tell them that they can actually have similar blog that can fetch them some money from Google. Once they become interested, charge them small fee to set up the blog and create adsense account for them.

P.S.: Don't forget to warn the guy that Google would not hesitate to ban him and close his account if he ever clicks on the ads or if he starts telling his friends, relatives and neighbours to click on the ads.

I actually made NGN3,000 ($20) last week using this method.

3. Broker Services: Ok, you think you can't take pictures and you can't create blogs for your friends, relatives, neighbours, etc? then can you bring those that have problems and those that can solve the problems together. Search forums to find out the problems that people have and ask them how much they can pay for the solution to their problem. Then, locate those that can solve the problem and ask them how much they will give you as commission if you bring someone that has such problem to them.

In all these things, make sure you are not greedy because that is the only way you will lose out.

Honestly, I have used all of these methods to make money, especially when I need to make some money to meet an urgent need.

Now, go start something because there's no food for a lazy man.

Best wishes.

I really do like that first idea. You can also use the photos you take to start a screensaver/desktop background program (like Webshots)

You really are thinking outside the box....thanks for the creative ideas. I'm curious how you monetize the avatar photos though....who do you sell them to and how?

I searched forums to find people that need avatars. I even went as far as asking forum members via PM whether they need images/pictures/avatars. I used to send the avatar photos to their email box as attachments in .jpeg or .gif format. So, they could download the photos, save them anywhere they want and use them anytime they want.

They used to pay me via AlertPay after receiving the photos.

I agree that being greedy is a quick way to lose out.

So low and steady, layer by layer is the only way to build a solid business.

    Great post

I like your outside-of-the-box thinking. There is no excuse why you cannot make SOME money.

      Marhelper,

Believe me, I would have been financially dead by now if not that I possess this baffling outside-of-the-box kind of thinking. So, to keep being financially alive I have to continually think that way.

      Thank you very much.

      Enjoy your weekend!

another take on the avatar is the little logos on the tabs in the browser (favicons). Pain in the butt to do if you're no good with photoshop/gimp. Easy if you know what you're doing. Price them at $5-$10 a pop (I think I paid $15 to get one done on scriptlance...)

Another idea (especially if you have XSP as it makes it easier) is to go round your local small businesses and offer to build them a small website (about 3 pages) for $100 or something.

If you have a reseller account at Zoom or hostgator etc, you could also offer to host it for them for a small monthly fee.

If you're not any good at the graphics then just outsource them (you'll soon make your money back)

      Kim,

Why do you think like me?

You can also design small sites for your local churches, NGOs, hotels, schools, night clubs, etc. All you have to do is to contact them by sending well articulated offline letter or email to the management telling them of your service. You can get the names and addresses of the organizations from your local newspaper or business directory.

Thanks Kim for the great idea.
