warrior looking for help

Hey warriors,

I'm an article and ebook writer, but I'm having some trouble getting started. I've been trying to promote products doing affiliate marketing with Clickbank.

The problem I'm having is, I need money faster than the amount of time it seems as though affiliate marketing is going to take.

I've been a writer all my life, but it's the uncertainty that I'm having issues with. Will it produce will it not? I can't afford to be sinking hours into something that I may never see anything off of.

I'd really like to write bulk articles for others, but am a little unsure of how to get clients or if that might even be lucritive.

I was considering 30 articles for 150 and or 500 for a book. Any feedback and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • If you are brand new to this, then chances are it will take you about 1-3 months before you see significant results, and even then, at that time, you will probably see about $100-$150/month in residual sales.

If that is not what you are looking for, then you should go to an outsourcing site (i.e., rentacoder/elance/etc), and offer your writing services there. Rentacoder I believe you would have to wait monthly for a cheque, but Elance you could be paid within 2-3 days. (However, Elance charges you to make bids, so you can easily spend $20-$30 before you get your first client).

Alternatively, people are constantly looking for article writers here. Offer your services, and when you have a few happy clients, you will most likely get more.

Have a look at the Warriors For Hire section under WARRIOR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES. That's where you want to advertise. In the first instance, study what's on offer there. Look for people who are offering to write articles and read their threads inside and out -- see how they advertise, what prices they are offering, what responses they are getting, etc. and you should end up with a fair idea of how to pitch your own work. It costs $20 to post your services there, but your thread will stay on page one usually for several days - I advertise my voice service there, and I've seen it stay on the first page for up to a week. And you still get views even after you go to page 2.

People are always hungry for articles - but you'll need make sure you've got some good samples in a variety of niches - Generally you need to keep your prices low at first in order to be noticed, but if your quality is there, I think your current notion of $5 per is extremely reasonable. You should be able ramp them up further as you get known, and if you're good you should end up with a nice stable of steady customers - and don't forget to ask them to leave testimonials.

      Hope this helps

In addition to the points made above, you may consider offering an article submission service as part of your product portfolio.

I'd recommend outsourcing it or simply using a good subscription service, but if you can take that off someone's plate, they will pay you for it! I do!!!

Join the War Room and start off by offering a WSO for article or ebook writing. Cite samples of your writing within the WSO and offer a much lower price to entice buyers to "try you out".

Make sure that buyers are given the option to opt-in to your mailing list. This way you can let them know when you have specials, or have room to take on additional clients.

This can give you a customer base from which to expand your business, and is a solid business model as well.
