Article question for warriors

1. For me, I like to submit my articles to Associated Content, they pay me for my articles and they rank extremely well in the SERP. It's a Win Win for me!

2. If you see an EZA article ranking in the top of Google, then all you have to do is write a better optimized article for the keyword and it should replace or rank just under the original ranking. Depends on if the article has a page rank or not.

2. Yes, of course you have a chance of getting in the top 10 with a competing article. Depends on the content, value, and SEO positioning you've incorporated into the article.

Your ranking depends on a few things.

#1 How competitive is the keyword(s) you are using?

If it's not too competitive, yes, you can get in the top 10 with a little work.

If it's very competitive, you might want to look for a less competitive keyword
or be prepared to do a bit more work to get in the top 10 and it may take some time, too. You may need to do some link building, for example, to get your article to rank.

The article you saw may have hundreds of links pointing to it, but then again, it might not. It depends on the keyword and how much competition is out there.

All three of the article directories you mentioned have good Page Rank with Google.
You can spin the article and submit it to all 3. GoArticles let's you put a link right in the body of your article. EZA requires it be in the signature, which is also fine.

While this tool is certainly far from perfect, you can use backlinkwatch.com to check links to the article you saw. It may give you an idea how hard it will be to rank for the same keyword.

If there's already an article from ezines or any other article directory then you have just as much chance of ranking as they do.

If you can do what they're doing only better, then there's a good chance you'll rank higher.

A few things to consider when trying to rank in the top 10

- An optimised article ideally you're main keyword is at about 1%

- LSI keywords, meaning keywords related to the main keyword

- Age of current articles that are ranking

- Pagerank of current articles that are ranking.

- Backlinks, both quantity and quality.

If you can do better on the above (with the exception of age) then there's a very good chance you'll be able to rank higher.

I have noticed that Go Articles responds well to backlinks initially but over time they sink deep down in the SERPS.

Yes, it is easy to do. You will not see more than two however.
