Question On Generating Traffic

Hi,

I was wanting to find out how others go about generating traffic to their sites. With so many ways, article marketing, blog commenting, submitting to social bookmark sites, etc. it just makes your head spin. So was wanting to find out:

1. Do you focus on one method for a certain time period (like a week or so and then move on to the next)

or

2. In a one week period, do you focus on article marketing one day, blog commenting the next day, forum participation the nex day, and so on.

Thanks,

South Bay Bones

I focus on one method until I basically perfect it and do all I can with it. If I keep working on it and it's costing me too much time and doesn't have great returns, then I'll switch my methods up. For me, I find that if I'm doing too many methods at once, I get distracted and lost and my productivity isn't that great.

    That's different for everybody though.

I agree if you have a new website or blog and you want to get backlinks so you can build a long term sustainable business then article marketing is your first step. Write articles until you want to puke looking at one much less writing one. Then move on to blog commenting and post relevant comments on blogs related to your niche.

You will build up your Google pagerank, your traffic, and your business all at the same time. When your up for it post in forums like your doing the Warrior forum is the best online so your in the right place.

    Hope that helps!

My preferred method is organic traffic. So focusing on seo is fundamental in all my campaigns. Also use article marketing, write 5 articles a day and you should definitely start to see results.

The problem most people have is they write out 5-10 articles. However, when your looking at having a sustainable business this will not work. Also build backlinks to your articles. Sometimes only a few links will be enough to push ezine articles to the front page.

Set yourself goals and make sure you achieve them each day. You could easily write out 5 articles in 1-2 hours. Less if your familiar with the niche. Drive traffic from where your target market hang out. This kind of traffic will convert. Use guest blogging, I have made many sales from this method and it really does work.
