What keywords are people using to find your page? Know that and you might be able to discern why the higher bounce rate. Perhaps they're finding you via keywords that are not quite closely related enough, so they leave when they see that it isn't quite what they wanted.

I don't understand: don't you want them to leave your page and go to Amazon? I'd be more worried about my conversion rate for the page.

But it all depends on what your goal is: clicks to Amazon or more clicks to other pages on your site?

I don't think it's the theme.. the site looks like unfinished business though.. I think if you add more pages and posts to your page you will find people to stay on your site for a longer time..

If you can track the clicks on your site, you can do it to see where they are going. If they are clicking on your affiliate links to amazon, then it is ok. That is what you want them to do. right?

They find my site with the keywords I have targeted, a few are unrelated but that's below 1% of my visitors.

I want them to click my Amazon links yes, but does Google analytics call that a bounce? I thought a bounce was when they clicked back on their browser to go back to Google.

I will add more pages in the next few days with more content, thank you for that idea

I have people clicking the Amazon links yes but I don't think that counts as a bounce.

I thought a bounce was simply a visitor hitting the one entry page on your site and then leaving. If I'm right, then that would make sense for your site. When I visited I was inclined to click on one of your links pretty quickly.

Yes you are right, that totally explains why I have a high bounce rate.

Does anybody know what kind of pages I could use to "fill out" my site?
