Hey fellow warriors I learned a lot from this forum and started my own review site for affiliate promotions but I am having a hard time getting traffic and sales. It does make me a little money but is there any way that you think I can make it better.

Here is the website: Expert Affiliate Reviews

I am open to opinions.

Nice site. How well are you promoting it? what IM'ing methods do you use? are you building backlinks to your site to better it's SERPs and PR? This would also increase it's relevance.

Remember, when you're Noticed, you're Paid. My advice, put in more effort in marketing your business online and in a few months you'll be reaping the rewards.

Let me know if you need help in marketing your site.

    Regards

What are you doing for traffic? Your site is not too bad, I don't think that is your issue. Traffic is like air for your business, you need it to survive. So tell me what are you doing to bring people in?

You may need to intensify your marketing campaign as well as do On-Page SEO and Off Page SEO.

There are many ways to increase traffic and create site branding and recognition like traffic exchange sites. You should also invest a little time and money in ads. They can be free or paid. I know that a lot of people think free advertisement is a waist of time, but in my years doing online marketing I have learned that NO effort is a wasted effort. In the long run you do draw some benefits from everything you do. It is just a matter of trial and error.

What has always worked for me is that I combine the use of BOTH free and paid promotional services. In addition, I strongly believe in the importance of optimizing your site. If you have not done so, then get on it.

    Good Luck!

Charleskidd, You can take this advice to the bank!

First and foremost, continue to give, give, give free value... never take, take, take...

Second - Use the hottest topics on the internet right now such as: Social Media (Twitter, Facebook etc..) to offer training, news etc. on.

Third - The "second" one will allow you to be a "so called" (Information Guide) "Neutral Attraction Marketing Advice" as an expert on the sidelines.

    Forth - Consistency, Consistency, Consistency,

It take some time to develop that internet presence with people, but in the long run, you'll have a much better list of prospects...

You can see examples of what I'm talking about at my blog... go there and look at some of my recent and popular posts on the right side of the page...

You'll notice not only do I give 100% free video post, but on the hottest content on the internet realm..

Hope this helps you friend, all you have to do is go there and take a little time and duplicate my concept... free.

yes your site is nice -

I would suggest optimising your title so that you are not only targeting one or 2 keywords - your title is one of your most important onsite seo factors.

Your heading usage is very good

your internal linking is good but you have no site map - get one - it will work well - even though small sites do not really require a sitemap , it will still add value to ease of navigation.

One thing which will help your site is to link internally using your anchor text - so instead of using home to link back to your main page , use your keywords. I tend to do this in the footer. so a link to your home page with the anchor being 'home' towards the top is fine but try and link internally using your keywords also.

Ive never used a pop up for subscription before - im not sure if this will have an impact on your seo or not. can not say if its a good idea or a bad one - however as a user i really do not like the pop ups - I find them intimidating and very pushy - I do understand that they help in converting though - so if it works for you then keep it.

your domain was created on the 5th of nov 2009 so its not very old - but it looks like your doing well -

you have 72 backlinks and many of them are from mybloglog.com- you really need to build more. look for quality ones they will help the most.
Have a look at my sig - ive got a great wso going for backlinks which would really kick your site off - im not trying to promote just trying to help.

other then that - your site loads fast as its gzipped so thats good.

you have a robots.txt which is good
and you have a page rank 1 which is also good.

just keep at updating your blog and adding quality backlinks - you will do very well.

      just my 2 cents

I have to agree with Dave. I did forget to add that you should use Social Media to your advantage. However, when doing so, keep your objective clear. This means, always remember the reason you are there. Most of the people who belong to social networks are there to socialize, therefore, keep your main goal in mind, only accept followers or friends who are interested in what you have to offer, this way your time there will be well worth it.

  • Dave, I have to agree with you and Jenny! Social media can be addicting and if one is going to use those sites for business, one must be strict as to how we use them!!
