Any Tips On How To Add Personal Audio Greeting To MY BLOG?

I want to add about a 2 min recording of my voice greeting my blog visitors? Anyone know how to accomplish this quickly, easily, preferably free? Is a podcast your only option? Or are their easier quicker ways?

Another question will my Dragon headset work as a microphone for this purpose? Or should I go out and purchase one?

    You can use Audacity (free) to record your greeting and convert it to an mp3. Your Dragon headset will be fine to use - you may need to select it as the microphone in the Dragon preferences page.
    Once it's done make it into an mp3. I'm not sure how to upload it, but I'm sure there'll be a free wordpress plugin. I don't think you'll need to make it into a podcast.

    If you have Google voice there is a couple of ways to do this, make the recording as a voice mail or record a phone call. Either way the file is saved. Then download it to your PC and upload it to your site.

    Of course you can use the recorder that comes with your PC and upload it.

    You can convert it to flash if you want a smaller faster loading file.
