I've read enough... to take action..

So I finally did.

I had purchased a site of flippa a few months ago. Initially I was disappointed as the site (and services) weren't as promised.

I did make a couple sales though and we all know how good that feels. I had to pay too much in adwords to get them though.

Another buyer from the same seller contacted me having the same problems as I was and let me know he was able to get his money refunded - and I then knew that could be an option as well.

However - the base fundamentals of the site I bought are OK and it's a reasonably nice looking site (that had made a few sales). So I've decided to try and make lemonade out of my lemon.

I re-jigged and re-started my adwords campaign, did a little research and added a new keyword that gets 5000+ searches a month with 0 competition and put it online.

I installed google analytics and linked it to my adwords
and on some key pages, I've also added some adsense. Trial and error, if it seems to be moving people away from my sales I'll remove it.

So anyways - it all took less than an hour. I've already had a bunch of impressions and a click-through.

My next plan of attack is submitting a few articles - I've got one in gmail ready to go and some backlinking.
