Why is it EVERYTIME I create a site!

Why is it everytime i create a site focused around a particlar product, i get it ranked, and the DAY it starts getting traffic is the day that the offer Suddenly gets expired! Unbelievable, this has happened to me like 3 times, i create a site talking about a certain product, people begin arriving at my site via Search engines, than that magic email comes in, "Hey Rob, its your aff manager, just to let you know the XYZ campaign has just been cancellledd!!! ARRRGGHHHH! It annoys the hell out of me!

Are the internet gods against me? Is god himself against me?

Best bet is to just steer clear of depending on other peoples products and start creating my own.

Sorry for the rant, you've probably all been there one way or another.

Rob

I knew someone would like that one. Now, its just a matter of finding and creating one.

There are tons of resources everywhere.

The best place to start his here in this forum and then here: Zeitgeist on 43 Things

That site can provide you with TONS of ideas.

Plus, it also puts down what people did.

You could easily do a compilation. You know the Chicken Soup series? All the author did was compile motivating stories and sold them.

You could do that with 43 things. Check this out:

      1. Weight loss niche
      2. Find 10 or 20 different "solutions" at 43 things.
      3. Compile them down. You now have social proof (each story is social proof) AND a nice book.

"20 Different Ways To Lose Weight And The Stories That Tell Them" Or something (that title is horrible, but you get the picture)

Next, go find ways to drive traffic for cheap.

There are tons of wso's right now about them. A few days ago I found one about stumbleupon advertising - 5 cents a visit to your site and highly targeted.

1 cent click google ad's (also listed in there)

Hit the war room for more ideas (Ebay Classifieds, craigslist, ezinearticles premium for instant article exposure).

Then just buy domain, go get the 7 Dollar script, write a basic sales page, get some nice graphics made (great graphic designers right here in the warrior forum). Charge 7 to 14 bucks to get people in the door (make sure you have an autoresponder) and begin building your business!

      Rob
That is probably the most thoughtful, selfless response i think I hae ever gotten from anyone on this forum. Thanks ALOT for those great ideas! Im sick and tired of trying to make others money, when i know I have the motivation, know-how, and resources to do it myself. Thanks again man.

I agree with marhelper on this one. It may just be coincidence. I hate to believe that there is someone actually trying hard to stop your success with cpa advertising.

I know, when you have no cash, it's difficult to outsource. But trust me, everyone who starts outsourcing (properly, not using the cheapest deal in India and then muttering "frigg, outsourcing doesn't work...") never looks back. You get SO MUCH MORE DONE!

Funniest thing ive read on here in a while, but true.

Your completely right man, i cant stand when it takes 3 hours to figure out something so mundane, which was supposed to be really easy. Kind of like using macromedia dreamweaver, all i want to do is highlight some text or change the font to Tahoma, and its like a 2 hour process of complicated code and css stats.

Viet is absolutely right guys, outsource the most you can so you can focus on what you do best.

        Rob

Outsourcing does work if done right (hint WSO on outsourcing ins and outs coming soon )

I hear tonnes of people saying they cannot do it. I think reason it does not work mainly is that person on our end, not the outsource end more soo.

        Cheers,
        Mukul

Create your on business system. If the products have to be by other people, you still have the traffic

It is best and more profitable (at least for me) to sell your own product but when you create a site, maybe you can plan for a certain product to expire and make the site versatile enough that you can switch products within the same niche. I have a few product specific sites, but they are Amazon products ...not CPA and are less likely to disappear.
