WikiTraffic -- Oh how good it is when your accepted

I just got to say, Wikipedia and Wikihow provide amazing targeted traffic when you are accepted as a link.

But Wikihow provides you with not only traffic but, quality keyword articles to write about.

Did you know that on the bottom of every Wikihow article they have this little section?

These are articles that they suggest you write about.

So first... how do you get your links accepted.

You can not commit blatant promotion, so you can't place affiliate links on a wiki page, but you can link a relative article source as a citation to the article on the site.

For example, linking an ezinearticle that you have published or linking a blog article of yours.

As long as it provides more value and is relevant to your post, your link will stick. How long it will stick is unknown as anyone can take it down.

I got a link on a Wikipedia page for two weeks and it provided 2,500 unique views.

This is what I'm going to test. I believe you should to because it can be a great traffic source.

Find an article that has not yet been written.
Write in depth instructions, link to multiple sources, not just your own site.
However, one of the links, link to your site as a resource.

Since you will be the originator of the article you might stick more rather then editing a current article.

Just seven cents...
