Best Membership Software?

Hi all, I want to start a membership site and I am researching the best scripts or software to use. I could use the Expertise of those that have used Membership scripts to inform me of the best script to go with.

I have been thinking about:

Butterfly Marketing Script ($997)

Launch Formulat Marketing Script ($997)

aMember ($179)

There is a big price difference. I would love to hear the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of each of the above.

If you have something that is better, a better script, please let me know.

Thanks,

Mike

    Hi Mike,

Here's the one I use and always recommend:

    RAP / Member Plus

Pricing is good, unlimited domain use and phenomenal features.

    Thanks,

    John

I recommend Amember.. at $179.. you can't go wrong..
I use it for all of my sites.. even for my non-recurring ones

      - member management is great..
      - the affiliate program feature is on point
      - a bunch of plugins you can use to make it better
      - even some custom plugins that amember customers made to make it look nicer
      - amember forum is full of cool customization tips

I tried the Butterfly Marketing Script.. it's a really good script but its complicated as hell.. if you like complicated then you should go with that..

plus.. one thing that I completely hated about BFM is the fact that you HAD TO use their templates when a user signs up..

the menu/navigation is hard to customize and everything looks really "boxy" in the members area - and I don't like "boxy"

Amember on the other hand, is pretty straight forward compared to BFM.. u can by a $40 plugin and use it with wordpress.. AMEMBER handles the members, and the wordpress plugin protects your content.. pretty cool huh?

but hey.. just my opinion.. hope it helped

There are lots of good membership site software programs. I am developing my membership site using memberspeed. Lots of cool features and I can add lots of plugins. It is on the semi-complicated side, but once you get it it is awesome. Good luck.

Dude, I'd just go with aMember. You get everything you'll need, and it won't cost you $1000 dollars.
