Malware Site Scanning - Dasient and SiteSecurityMonitor
My Bluehost account was hacked and some malware javascript added to some pages on my 3 sites.
I managed to limit too much damage, changed all passwords, replaced all files from backups and got the 1 site that was blacklisted by Google reviewed and taken off the blacklist after only 1 day. I've run Malwarebytes over my PC and it looks clean. I'm still watching and double checking everything on a daily basis though.
Anyway, I've been looking into malware site scanning products, mainly:
Dasient . com
SiteSecurityMonitor .com
(I'm not allowed to post real links til it's my 15th post )
They may help alert me to future infections that may allow me to address things more quickly.
Has anyone had any experience with either of these? Are there any better options? Dasient quoted me $400 per year for 3 sites, still waiting for sitesecuritymonitor to get back to me.
