Here is my specific secret to find great available domains
While searching for deleted domains i came across this cool software Expired Domains - Free desktop software
What this software basically does is finds deleted domains (upto 40,000 of them daily gets deleted)
The same information is sold on some websites for up $16 a month (with limits on number of searches)
Step by step
So if you want to find an available domain that has good Google PR and alexa ranking .. follow the following steps

- Is page rank a big deal?
Not really, but if you are building a new site that already has a page rank the chances of getting traffic would be higher.
- Why not buy new domain rather than old deleted ones
Age of the site is also considered as one of the factors by search engines. More old the site, the better it is.

Step by step

- Download the software Expired Domains - Free desktop software
- Search for your domain (with or without keyword and preferred extension)
- The software will give you a list of domains deleted today including those keywords.
- Export the keywords in XLS format.(excel)
- Open the list in Excel
- Copy only the column with domain names
- Now go to the web and search for Google PR and alexa bulk checkers (i am sure you will find plenty of them)
- These tools will show you domains that have Page rank
