Problem with Click2Sell
I have been promoting someone elses product who uses Click2Sell.
Unfortunately, the way C2S works is MUCH different than CB. They don't pay me...instead they pay the product owner and then it is the product owner's responsibility to pay out his affiliates by the 20th of each month. I am not exactly sure why anyone would use C2S since I am not sure exactly what service they offer, but that is a different story...
Unfortunately, the product owner did not pay me by the 20th. I gave it a few days and finally decided to send him an email to see what was happening. Unfortunately, he does not have an easy way to contact him...I had to do it through support ticket/help desk, but then finally found a a way to also email him through the C2S site. Anyway, after several emails to his support desk as well as through C2S I have still not heard anything back from the product owner.
Finally, I decided to send an email to C2S directly asking them what is up...their response was that the product owner had contacted them a few weeks ago and told them he would be late paying his affiliates and that he was supposed to contact his affiliates and let them know...which I never got...they said that he gave them a reason and that they found that his arguments were reasonable and let him pay commissions and fees later than deadline...and that I should be patient.
It is now March 6th and I have still not heard from the product owner and we are now only a couple of weeks away from the next payment he owes me...(it is recurring income)
Has anyone had this issue before?
I don't mean to sound cold-hearted...I am fully aware that things happen in peoples lives that are beyond their control...however, no one has told me the reason he is late with my payment...granted, maybe it is personal, but still...
What really bothers me is that it shouldn't matter to his affiliate what is going on in his personal life...I sell my own products through Clickbank and they pay my affiliates directly...they don't give me the money and then expect me to pay out my affiliates...that just doesn't seem to make any sense...C2S makes it seem like this is not their problem...that it is between me and the product owner...the one who does not return my emails...
Any suggestions? Should I just be patient like they suggest?
