Article Submission - What is Best?

I have a newbie question. Let's say I have 5 different articles on my niche. What is the best thing to do to get noticed favorably by Google:

1) Submit the 5 articles (no re-writes) to as many article sites as possible?
2) Submit each article only once, each to a different article site?

Thanks!

Submit the 5 articles to ezinearticles.com first, after approved submite them to the rest of article websites.

In my point of view 1st option is better. You can get lots of traffic and back link through posting your articles to as many sites as you can.

Submit and get approved at ezinearticles. Then submit to as many article directories as possible. For even more bang for your articles spin them and add a few to Web 2.0 sites

Yes, that sounds like a good plan, submit to ezine fist and then use Isnare or Article Marketer to mass submit to many smaller article directories. Once you get the list where your articles have been submitted you can pick out the niche directories that are related do your nice log in to the directories and fully edit your profile and bookmark your articles.

#1 (but if you can be bothered, with slightly different titles).

With 5 articles it's not going to make much difference on way or the other though.

Submit to ezine articles then all the major article directories. Rewrite them and do the same thing. Link back to the ezine article from the articles at the other directories

What I do with my articles is I submit them first to EzineArticles or ArticleBase or Associated Content, it all depends on the keywords for each article.

For example, you have 5 articles to submit. If each article is for a different keyword, I would submit all 5 to EzineArticles.

Google will only show 2 results from the same domain. So you want to submit at a max. 2 articles with the same keyword to one directory. If you have more than 2 articles with the same keyword, submit the 3rd and so on to other directories like ArticleBase and AssociatedContent.

Once all articles are published, this is when I "recycle" them. I submit them to other article directories which allow duplicate content like goarticles, articlecity, articledashboard, hubpages, etc. Each article will link to the original article using the Keyword as the link to build backlinks to the original. Another link would be to my landing page.

Another way I recycle articles is I submit them to Free Traffic System.

Thanks for your answer. I send to the top 10 (except Buzzle and others that want articles to them only). I did not think about the article/keyword limitation. Will follow your advice in the future.

        No problem!

The other thing I do with my articles is that I always change up the title when I resubmit them and I change up the introductory paragraph to. The rest I leave alone.

Always submit to EZA first. And then you can submit it to say 50 more of the high PR ones. Most of the other ones allow duplicate content while EA simply denies it (which is why you submit to them first).

I have posted this many times before, but you need a copy of Brad Callen's Article Submitter (not an affiliate link and I'm not being endorsed in any way) to really improve your strategy. It has the benefit of being manual, so you can check everything before submitting. So submit to the big ones first, and when you get time get all the little ones in there. This product is a huge time saver.

    Hi,

If you have 5 unique quality articles, then you need to submit them first on EZA and wait for approval. As soon as, they approved just submit them on many other article directories as well at least 15-20 to get a good amount of traffic. If you can submit 5 articles daily at 20 websites. You can imagine how much traffic you can divert on your site.

    Means

    5*20 = 100 visitors at least daily.

    1. Submit the 5 unique versions first. You can use either EZA or GoArticles. If you are wanting to get in fast, I would recommend GoArticles since EZA can take anywhere from a few days to a week or so to approve your articles. GoArticles will get you live within 24 hrs(normally within a couple).

    2. After you have submitted the unique articles, I would spin each each and submit those versions to more article directories/web 2.0 sites and make sure you point the backlinks with your keyword targeted anchor text to your original version. So if one of your articles was about 'puppy potty training tips', then you want your anchor text to be this keyword.

Building backlinks to your own articles is a great way to get indexed fast and beat out your competition.

You can also use social bookmarking and blog commenting to beef up your articles backlinks as well.

I sure hope you are a fast reader. This thread is a MUST READ for anyone who is an article marketer.

Pay very close attention to all posts by TheRichJerksNet, Allen Graves, Alexa Smith, JayXtreme, Steven Wagenheim, Jeremy Kelsall, and I'm sure I'm missing a few other important names. You will even find a little disagreement going on among some of these experts. Make sure you read their points very carefully.

This thread is worth a ton of money, and it is all yours for free, except for your time.

This will tell you the truth about submitting your articles where first, where to, and how.

It is EXTREMELY LONG!! Be forewarned. This may be the most educational thread you will read this week or this month.

Yes I found this post yesterday (Read about 8 pages so far). Very informative and changed my initial way of thinking. Basically I should post articles to my own site first and then post them to the article directories. Who knew

you need to use a mass article submitter. I've just started to use one. A few get rejected but posted 5 here and there is a waste of time

It sounds as though you have all the advice you need. But for the record I agree that you should submit your five articles to ezines.com first then to all the other directories you can find. Changing the title is also a good idea.
