$20 For Anyone Who Can Solve A Quick Wordpress Issue - Need It Fast Though :-)

2 replies
Hey guys,

I have a WordPress blog and have been fiddling around with the Revolution Magazine theme.

The standard header size is 80px but I wanted to increase it to 150px so I can customize it and have done so successfully.

However, the menu bar has stayed in the default location, so is in the middle of my header and looks horrible.

This is a 2 minute job I would assume inside the WP editing panel, and I'll give $20 (ONO) to anyone who can sort it for me within the next hour.

Just reply here or send me a PM and I'll get back to you within seconds, as I want this doing ASAP. Alternatively I would prefer it if you could email or hit me up on Skype.

Thanks in advance guys!

  • You need to edit the .css file (off the top of my head, I forget what it is called). But go the area where you can edit files, look for the .css files, and you should see something that looks like "position: absolute" (or : relative), related to 'headers' (or header graphics), and you fix it there. It should then work afterwards.

    Go into your WP admin panel:

    ==>>Appearance
    ==>>Editor
    ==>>style.css

    Scroll own to the section labeled 'header'.

    Look for
    #header {
    background: #85ACAC url(images/header.png);
    width: 960px;
    height: 80px;
    Change the 80px to 150px. Save the changes and refresh your home page.
