I have a nearly completed E-Book...what next?

Hey friends,

2 years ago I wrote an E-Book (or maybe like an E-Report - it's 8 pages.) The subject matter deals with how to get resolutions on products or services purchased from companies that don't meet up to the quality standards that they should. I had put the product on the "cyber shelf," and today, I pulled it out, and blew off the "cyber dust."

I have very little time to work with it, but, would still like to make some money from it.

It needs to be edited a bit more for grammar and wording, before it's ready to be released.

I honestly think it would be a great seller, if it was marketed right.

I really don't want to have to work with it any more, and would view any form of money made from it as extra (again, even though, I believe marketed correctly, it could be very successful.)

Were you in my shoes, what would you do?

Thanks.

Jeremy

Make a cover. Write a salesletter to sell it. Put a paypal
button in the salesletter. Then send targeted traffic to
    the salesletter.

Do you know how to drive targeted traffic without using PPC or article marketing? I really hate 'em..

I would get scrape box, and post on blogs.
make a forum signature and leave it there.
set it up as a WSO...

Build a list, and market your product to that list.

There are seriously so many ways to get started.

One of my new Internet Marketing Mantras is

      Ready
      Fire
      Aim

In other words, dont let all the thinking get in the way.

We all know that you can only make money once you actually
apply the stuff that you are learning.

Also, you can find some JV's to promote your product and make some big profit together, you can do that right here in the warrior forum, just go to the Joint Ventures section.

    Cheers,

Two years, only 8 pages and you still describe it as 'nearly ready'?

And you say you are not even sure you can be bothered with it?

If you can't be bothered to get 8 pages edited up in 2 years, do you really think that you will be bothered to put in the real work in selling it?

As the great Marlon Sanders says: "Nearly done ain't done."

Get it done or get on with something else you care enough about to get done.

    Hey Jeremy,

I would have to agree with precious- ngwu. Give it away and build a list. For your next product, you might want to consider outsourcing..

        Hey friends,

        Thank you for the response.

I wrote this product nearly two years ago, but, several legitimate things came in the way of launching it, most notably, a computer crash where I lost it. Thankfully, a few days ago, I thought of a friend who may have a copy on his hard drive.

I have heard of a WSO before. However, I am still not familiar with it. What is it, and what would it mean for my product? Do I still profit from sales of it as a WSO?

        Thanks.

How much does it cost to do a WSO?

Also, do I have to pay for each ad?

Is a WSO profitable for the author? In other words, if I release it as a WSO, can it be bought by "Jim Bob Blow" and then, he turn around and sell it for less, multiple times?

    Just wondering.

    Thanks.

Hi Jeremy - one question about your ebook...have you clearly identified a market segment that frequently has that problem and would seek out an answer to it on the internet?

For exmample - I'm not sure how big a problem this is for people with the normal case being handled by ethical businesses who offer strong guarantees.

Take internet marketing as an example - I would guess that your target market would be 10% of the overall market who buy something and get shafted - the other 90% would either not have the problem or would seek out a resolution directly with their vendor.

Have you seen direct evidence that people are looking for the information you offer?

Or is there a specific segment you have identified that particularly struggles with this problem?

    Cheers,

    Jeff

Hm.. I did some research when I initially. People "out there" complain about their product or service not doing as it was supposed to..on blogs, forums, and the like. I have not identified a particular part of the population.

    Good thought.

My e-book details a method that works for products $10-$10,000.
