How To Know The Source Of Traffic

Hey guys.

I need some help here.

I have a site that has 3 banner links going to my sales page.

How can I track which among the 3 links is actually bringing people to the sales page?

Any idea on tracking?

Thank you in advance.

If the three banners are on separate pages you can use Google analytics goals. If not, I suggest using a simple PHP or javascript script that counts how many clicks each banner gets. I'm sure some tech savvy warriors can help.

The banners are in the entire site. They're just positioned in different part of the page.

I have no idea on php and javascript, I just thought there's away to do it in analytics.

Google adwords have a URL builder, but it's primarily for those running adwords campaign.

Just to answer my own question... and help others who may be searching for this info.

Google have a site to help you monitoring links:

Tool: URL Builder - Analytics Help

    There you go.
