A client asked me about the WordPress Caffeinated Content plugin earlier. I've never used it so I don't know, and most attempts to find out have been met with affiliate pages that were pretty much 'Sales Page Revisited'. The few mentions I found from genuine users all raved about the gobs of content produced, but none said anything about how it was treated by the search engines etc, if it generated any traffic or if it was just gobs of content that lies unseen in it's death throes somewhere on the floor of cyberspace. I've seen a couple of the sites that use it, and in only one case could I say I was impressed by it. It does look like something can be done with it, but I'm loathe to recommend anything to customers that has one major benefit (in this case, speedy content generation) if it's outweighed by major drawbacks (website oblivion). Are there any owners of Caffeinated Content website survivors out there? |

Hi Diana, I use the caffeinated content, I never feed that data and distribute it on my blog, however, it is a great way to get the quick title generations and ideas for your posts. For example. I have a lot of niche stores where I make commissions of products, but at the same time I run out of the ideas on how to get more posts on the blog and keep the site updated, If I pull data of youTube or Yahoo answers, I can get a lot of ideas on what to write. It is quick and easy. p.s., click here if you would like a discount code as well. Ends Nov. 23rd http://affiliate-niche-stores.com/20...nated-content/ |

I'd forgotten that I posted this one. Thanks, Ivana. Since my second most trusted source (The Warriors) had no experience to offer, I decided that the plugin seemed to offer sufficient potential for my first most trusted source (me) to rack up some experience with it, so I bought it myself. I've been too busy with other things to do as much as I could've done with it, but so far I like it. Out of the box, the templates don't credit any third party content providers (article writers) which is important to me, but it's not difficult using the supplied manual to figure out how to give everyone their resource boxes. The ability to use your own or PLR articles to drip-feed your blog with is great too. Just load up your blog once a month (which takes about five minutes flat once you've decided your keywords and categories), then forget it. I had one or two issues initially with the formatting of my own articles as they appeared once posted, but the guy behind the plugin (whose name I've forgotten, sorry), sorted these out and sent me the revised version of the code within twenty-four hours. I can't fault the customer service. Moreover, revenue is up by around sixty per cent with plenty of search traffic on the few sites I'm using it with so far (as opposed to the 'post a dozen articles and neglect forever' method!), so I'll be using it on most of my other sites too. Definitely recommended, provided the supplied templates are edited so that everyone gets due credit. |

Thanks for the feedback Diana, I had planned on trying that out before the coupon expires! One question I have regarding one of your comments on Resource Boxes. Do you mean the plugin strips the resource box from the article directory? For example, EZA does not allow links in the body only the Resource Box, therefore it would be stripped? Also you mentioned PLR articles. I assume you mean any article of yours you want to set up for "drip-feed"? |

I dont think it pulls from EZA. It pulls Yahoo Answers, You Tube and Articles although I dont remember where the articles come from. I use and like it Michael |

It doesn't strip the resource boxes out, it just neglects to include them. For example, in your template there'd be a tag something like [articlecontent] (this isn't the exact tag - I can't remember it off the top of my head) which pulls in the article, and another tag like [resourcebox] which pulls in... the resource box (you'd never have guessed what that one did, huh? ). The standard template doesn't include the resource box tag, but the manual does tell you all about it.I don't think it's mentioned where the articles come from, but as far as I can tell, they come from ArticlesBase. Yes, by PLR I meant the Private Label Rights articles I've got hanging around by the zillion, as well as the much fewer number of articles I've got that have been written by me. Youtube video comments are posted underneath the videos as comments on your blog, which makes it look a bit more lively, and you can pull in links anywhere on your template from a file you edit yourself to include ClickBank/affiliate/whatever you want kind of links. It has many uses, and is what you make of it, really. |

You are correct Ragnartm, I had forgotten about the body links. The self serving links are confined to the resource box.

Even in your comments where the name is, you can put a link. You get so many ideas to write article about. You can use this and write more articles for ezine and have additional traffic come to you. You can write small mini guides, and so much more. Again, by far, it is one of the best and easiest plug ins. I don't post the articles as they are written, I change it into my own words. so I get unique content.

Is anybody having trouble pulling in any content with this when installed on Reseller Zoom? It worked the first time I set it up on a blog hosted at RS, but hasn't since.

There was an update to this plug in. I had trouble pulling in data, until I did the update. FYI, that special for caffeinated content plugin ends on the 8th. |

Hi, I use this plugin on a site where to be honest I don't know much about the niche. I only use it to generate ideas and then I write my content based on that. Leanne |

Are you saying you had trouble pulling in content on Reseller Zoom or just in general? I just downloaded it a few days ago, and I am having success with it on other servers... just no luck with blogs hosted on Reseller Zoom servers.

"Hi, I use this plugin on a site where to be honest I don't know much about the niche. I only use it to generate ideas and then I write my content based on that." Exactly, you can come up with content real fast, and keep the posts scheduled to go out every once in a while. Also, you can create small e-books for give aways so you can capture those leads as well. It is just a lot faster way to get the content on your site! |

I use Caffeinated Content and I love it. It has allowed me to resurrect some domains that were old and outdated. There is alot of flexibility with the plugin and if definitely can help you think of new content. By altering questions pulled, you can create new content quickly and easily. I think it is totally worth the money, and Jason has good customer service too.

Yes, Buddy, you can schedule content to publish whenever you like, between future dates of your choice. Those of us who aren't used to the US date format have to watch what we're doing a bit here, but it's not a huge problem and one you won't be troubled by. You can also choose to date your posts in the past, which is great for giving new sites an illusion of history so that they don't have that 'fresh out of the box' squeak about them. I can say with no reservations and no affiliate link to push here that the Caffeinated Content plugin is so far proving to be one of the most useful tools I've spent money on, and even at the full price it was worth every penny. |

wow that is so cool. Never even thought about that one. There are just so many ways to use it. It is better to write unique content and use the data to write it in your own words, but some comments can be added as a comment. Than in the comment URL change it to your affiliate link |

I signed up for the discount. what a great forum, came here researching the msn loophole, stumbled across the content creator, great timing b/c I was in need of good auto content creation. How have some of you been monetizing it? What kind of link building are you doing to these types of blogs? Thanks, Chris |

I think this would be an awesome plugin - However , I think it would be much better if a visitor was able to ask a current question - If you start getting tons of traffic from this and visitors start looking for an opportunity to also ask a question - they will learn real fast these questions / answers are not related to your site - would you agree? Thanks, Jason |

You can tweek the template so it looks less like a question and answer and more like a blog site. The articles come from articlesbase.com I think. Good plugin. Great for any WP sight that needs some content in a hurry. Add in alinks plugin or any sort of affiliate plugin and you have ready made content already monetized. |

Caffeinated Content works well. Just don't go out blasting new posts with it. I suggest figuring out your own system and test, a lot. Most content generating plugins/progs. can work well. If used for more than just blasting out duplicate content on a site. Be creative and you can find all sorts of uses for CC and other things that work like it. |

Exactly. Now the caffeinated content can help you with keyword research as well. For those who write articles you can write hundreds of tips on how to ________. Because each yahoo post for example has at least 5 tips.

I just bought this and will be messing around with it soon, but for now I use WP-O-Matic, and have also tested FeedWordPress - if you're looking for something free, or just want to diversify your options for similar kinds of tasks, check out my post here: Check out my automated niche blog business model (it really works) The reason I like CC so far is because it does comments, but WP-O-Matic has some benefits to it as well, such as relinking target text. I dig CC though. Good post! |

This is a great script. Just using it on a test site now. Love that it will schedule out posts. do have a question though, say you took your main keyword.. widgets and initially set it for 15 posts , if i go back to add more for this keyword, will it come back with some duplicate from my previous post? Thanks, Chris |

Hi JS, Just tested mine & they are all playing fine. Are you using V.335 of CC? I think that is the latest version Jason has put out Dave P.S. Maybe turn off all your other plugins then test CC If that doesn't help I'd reinstall CC |

Wow. Old thread flashback. I stopped using Caffeinated Content some months back in favour of WP-Robot, for several reasons. Mostly because while it never stopped working for me, the stuff that it was pulling in began to look more and more like Caffeinated Cobblers than content with each passing day. I never used support beyond the early days (when it was fantastic and I had no issue with it), but the zillions of complaints that began to come in from other users were making it pretty clear that obtaining support would likely be difficult if the need ever arose for it again. Also because other alternatives became available which had the option of purchasing a developer license, which Caffeinated Content never did. This is important to me because I sell a lot of the sites I build, and even the ones that are long-term keepers need an exit strategy. Every time I sold a site it meant either persuading the buyer to purchase the plugin as well or deactivating and removing the plugin while leaving the content that it had produced. This routine was a bit of a pain in the bum. Caffeinated Content was good in it's day, but there are better alternatives around now and it's not a plugin I could recommend any more. |

I got caffeinated content last year which has been OK for me, the owner did email recently saying he had outsourced the support and it became a disaster. Now I'm using WP Unique then, pull popular articles from ezine leaving the author details intact though, you can comment on the article to glam it up a bit. WP Unique will make the article unique in the eyes of the search engine but, leaves the page as is..cool plugin.. Also, Best Article Spinner is fantastic IMO.. |

I've had pretty good success with caffeinated content on my pr pumper blogs. It did used to be really buggy but with the last update I think in December it seems to be better. Would love to hear more info on the plugins you are using now instead of caffcontent and whether they are able to produce more targeted, relevant results - sometimes the content is not super relevant which has been my only complaint with CC.

At this rate it will not be long before 'Rocky' hasn't made as many comebacks as this thread has done ![]() As I think I've mentioned, I don't use Caffeinated Content anymore. I prefer WP Robot these days and use it a lot, but I set it to create posts as drafts and then go through them before publishing, usually hand-scheduling them to periodically show up at future dates (I make a note of when each site will need attention again). Not what you'd strictly call autoblogging as it does mean a little effort and involvement, but it does not take long at all, and vetting posts is still a sight quicker than writing them. It means that I can add tags or delete irrelevant ones, delete nonsensical posts before they appear (WP Robot does not draw in the pile of pants that I've seen other autoblogging plugins often produce, but I imagine it could have been responsible for some of the 'romantic' St Valentine's Day Massacre books and DVDs that I've seen promoted on Valentine's Day sites to users who aren't one bit interested in Al Capone. I would not blame WP Robot for putting them there). I like to add original content to sites too (so shoot me - I'm not a proper autoblogger ). Even if you don't know a wild amount about a niche when you first enter it, it's surprising how much you can pick up after a while if you can be bothered to vet what you're posting.
