The Magic Selling Window - The Best Time To Make a Sale - First 30 Days?

Whats up Warriors?

I was wondering if you could confirm my suspicion on what I call the magic selling period.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that your best opportunity to land any sales is within the first 30 days of coming in contact with your reader?

Across the board(whether they buy or download a freebie), I noticed that I get the best conversions within the first week, and up to about the first 30 days of subscribing.

That has got me thinking a lot.

Wouldn't it make sense to separate your lists into two categories?

Your first list being anyone who signed up within the first 30 days.

This list would be specially designed to get them to buy everything you have to offer, with special emphasis on the first week pushing one product.

For example, your reader comes in for free 20 minute dog training video.

Through that video + your follow up sequence you try pushing a product '30 minutes to dog training mastery'(imaginary - for example only).

Your first week is specifically set up to land the sale of that ONE product.

You are also providing value along with your initial promo.

If you fail your first week, start pushing a different product the 2nd week. This time instead of basic dog training, maybe a product on dog potty training.

(Is it safe to assume they probably aren't interested in the original product you pushed in your first 7 days?)

Repeating the process over the first 30 days until they eventually buy something...

This first list is also exempt from any global mailings that you send out so that you don't derail your selling process.

You then have a second list which is for all subscribers over 30 days old, which haven't purchased any of the items you want them to.

This is your broadcast list where you can either re-engage them with a freebie or just to send your promo broadcast emails..

Does anyone here do this?

I'm thinking this might be the better way to go, but wanted some input before I spend the time re-designing my follow up sequences....

Any suggestions on how to improve it?

Thanks!
Dan Brock
