Have I found 2 Possible goldmines?

Hi!

On an habitual niche research, i've found 2 new domains in the jobs&tourism niche, with 3 kw each one and +25.000 local searches for their exact match.

The best is that competiton for those kw is 0!!

What do you think should i do?? some kind of blog+adsense? classified ads+adsense?? or any other kind of website/product??

Thanks in advance!

    No competition?

Do youself a favor...check if there are adwords ads for those searches.

If there are none, then the niche is probably unprofitable.

I used the google adwords tool. Domains have just 3 keywords, without any ' - or others characters.

Both have no competition on adwords tool, +25k local searches (EXACT match) and many jobs & travel & tourism adwords ads with +0.50€ average CPC

    Sounds like a good deal.
Register the domains, get a site up and start backlinking.

    Got nothing to loose anyway

if there is no adwords competition, then you might have a problem trying to make money in that niche.

Just because there is no adwords ads for that kw, doesn't mean that it doesn't get traffic. Maybe there are no products or an undiscovered niche for that particular kw (who know's, unless you tell me the kw and i can check it out for you lol ).

As long as there's traffic, you can monetize with adsense if there are no affiliate products for that.

There might be traffic, no one said there wouldn't be. The kw tool won't lie.

That will be VERY rare in 2010. Almost every single niche has been discovered. If there are NO advertisments in this niche, whether they are on the search network or content network...then it is not a profitable niche.

Not every niche that has thousands of searches a day, is monetize. It's sad but true.

        Thanks for your replies

There are adwords ads for those kw, i've checked and double-checked.

For 1 domain, competition is very low, little green bar on adwords tools.
For the other domain, competition is 0, no green bar on adwords tools , but ads are shown on google when searching for them.

There are lot of content network ads for jobs&tourism, so i think that will be no problem.

I'll test with a blog site, with adsense and maybe some job searching CPA campaing.

Or maybe the niche is ripe for the picking with a product created to get money from the searching audience.

I'd say set the domain up and get traffic to the site. See what you can do with adsense, maybe try some CPA offers and if you get all that traffic coming in and still no money, flip the site for some good extra cash and move on. No harm in trying!

I would reverse engineer the main niche keywords.

People who are interested in "******" are also interested in "@@@@@@".
People who are interested in "@@@@@@" are also interested in "%%%%%%".

    ad infinitum (within reason)

Why not build a hubpages page about this niche? I'm finding hubpages is great for seeing if there is demand for a subject - if there is I build a website about it.

And stuff about every niche being discovered is pure rubbish.

      There is demand

I've not found a new niche, i just have found a 2x 3 kw domains available (.com) inside the job/tourism niche with +25.000 searches. So there is demand, i've not invented anything new

I'll try 1 blog + adsense on 1 site, and classified ads + adsense on the other one, just for testing purpouses

You might want to cross-check using the Search-based keyword tool which is based purely on organic searches (you don't need to enter a site, just the keywords).

How many searches/month does that tool say there is?

I would go for a combination of AdSense and affiliate offers. You can probably also try CPA.

If the search is local, you might see if you can find enough advertisers in your area and make a blog or guide about all the different things you can see or do in the area. You do not need many advertisers to make a full time income.

As long as you can get traffic, you can make money, don't listen to anyone telling you otherwise, just because there are no adwords advertisers in that niche/keyword, adsense isn't the only way you can make money online, depending on the niche, I'm sure you'll find a wide range of CPA offers/affiliate products to promote on them.

Don't listen to others, if you think these keywords will be targeted then proceed because your traffic will provide you money no body else will.

I've been reading Yanik Silvers book, Moonlighting on the Internet and had a HUGE ahah moment about this.

Search the most searched How To term "How To Tie a Tie" See any google ads? Now we are talking a traffic of 670,000 people per month searching this term. Not much competition for a google ad huh?

There is a reason for this. It wont make you money.

Look for a KW that HAS competition (but not too much).

Yanik compares it to a bookself of books. People own many books on the same subject just as they would want many info products on the same subject. Competition proves there is a market. The secret is to set your product up as something slightly different or more niche in that subject.
