I am happy! My first Amazon commission.

I been promoting Gas Grills for a month and really never
made any progress. Maybe off season. However I left the
site and today I had a $359 sale. Since I am new I do not
make more then 4%. But 14.95 is money as well....

What I did:

- WordPress
- ReviewAzon
- Added reviews for all top reviews gas grills.
- Also added Pennie accessories

Added reviews to blogger and wp and feed it with
one article a day. And then let time do it's thing.

    Well done on that first commission! It's not a lot of money for sure but the great thing is that it's only gonna get better with time if you keep working on it. That's what I like about Internet Marketing: you are setting your own limits and more work always means more profits when you actually now what you're doing. Good luck!

      Yes, it feels great. Is not the amount is more that someone
      bought it. I do not advertise too many low price products
      either. And $359 is kinda cool.

      I will keep doing physical products as they is far easier
      the digital for me at least.

    That's the hard thing about such expensive products.. Say if you were selling a product for $10.. you would get a ton of more sales (depending on how many users visit your site daily.. ) but then you have to think about which one is worth it in the long run.

    A sale is a sale, do whatever you did times 1,000 and wish you the best of luck.

      Yes, I do have some pennie products listed as well.
      Since if they get cookied on amazon they can buy
      whatever they want ;-)

    The website is interesting. I think it needs more "sparkle" but it's informative non the less. Keep submiting to those social bookmarking networks and I would strongly suggest making a video as some people like the more "hands on approach"

      One suggestion, make your header appealing. The
      header is too dark.

      Something like a couple standing around the grill,
      a couple of guys cooking in front of the grill...

    I know alot of people have had success with amazon, but you really need to sell 100's and 1000's of items to make it worth while. I have sold over $1000 worth of stuff and I got like $30 odd dollars from them!

    The way I see it cj,clickbank,ewb much better for commissions.

    Congrats. I think the main thing that you did to help boost sales was add reviews. I've noticed that when people see that other people have bought something, and liked it they think it's ok and safe to buy that product, thus a snowball like thing starts happening. I've noticed it in my business.

      much that help. But I do have some of them spun to 70% over
      at blogger and wordpress.com

      I always try to improve. So thanks to all that comes with
